This could have been a 5* holiday. In our view the room is why we dropped a star. We had several issues, however they were quickly fixed. Our room was very dated. We were offered an alternative a more recently refurbished one, which was a lot nicer but it was near the road (noise) and the view was a roof/garden shed The setting of this hotel is perfect and the beach bar area is a total chill area and we absolutely loved it here, nothing better than a day at the beach and a few feet away a lovely bar chilling area to refresh with a nice cocktail, then back to your sun bed. Food we found was really good and staff very helpful and pleasant especially the young customer service lady, who went out of her way to help us. The specialist restaurants were really nice, if you could book them! They appeared booked weeks in advance, yes weeks, how?? that is a question lol, they were booked on our arrival and we were there 14 days, lots of complaints because of this. The entertainment had much to be desired, the best night being the white party at the beach bar. This night had a great vibe and gave you the chance to have a boogy, it was our favourite. The grounds are beautiful although the beach to the right when facing the sea wasn't walkable when we were there due to dried seaweed, lots. There was always plenty of sun beds, both by the main pool and beach. Food by the pool and beach was always freshly cooked to order and really nice so we never ate in the restaurant at lunch time. Would highly recommend this hotel, if you can get a refurbished room. We had a lovely time, peace and quiet, adults only, a few excursions arrange by jet to which were great, see and learn about some culture, we loved them, especially the monster travel with the jet boat experience, this was amazing, it was like 007 through the canyon, white water rafting and mud buggies so don't wear white lol. Highly recommend this. Overall we had a truly wonderful time here. Get the rooms sorted Flora Garden.
