Y’avait personne. Mais genre personne. Pas de clients. Personne à l’accueil. Personne. Tout allait bien hein. Les chambres étaient bien. Le lieu aussi. Mais perosnne. Je me suis demandé comment ne pas me sentir seul avec cette absence de population. Enfaite la réponse était la. Dans le nom. « Holiday haus » Après une rapide recherche j’ai trouver que « haus » signifie « boire » en Hmong, une langue d’Asie du Sud. Et bah voilà, comment ne pas se sentir seul, BOIRE. Alors je me suis dit que c’était pas très moral de suggérer au gens de boire. Puis je me suis dit qu’il valait mieux boire et mourrir d’alcoolisme dans 30ans que de dépression maintenant.

Spent at week here and had quite a varied experience. It's in a fantastic location, being a 5-10 minute walk to the village, 10 minute walk away from the village to find a number of restaurants and shops, and there are local (free) bus stops either side of the road outside. There's a hotel section and a motel section, I was in the hotel section, which allowed me access to the outdoor hot tub which was very nice after a physical day on the mountain. The rooms are basic and could do with a reno, the walls are thin so you hear the neighbours, and my room wasn't serviced during a 5 day stay. The biggest issue for me was they wouldn't let me leave my large suitcase there after check out, even though it was snowing and I had a 4 hour wait for the taxi to my flight. The girl behind the desk was extremely rude and didn't care at all about how I would be inconvenienced. The owner stepped in and offered a solution of sorts, but it took about 1 hour of negotiations.

Older hotel but well kept. Clean and walkable to shops and restaurants as well as the village gondola

Check staff were helpful making recommendations for us. Location was great walking distance to the gondola and restaurants. Room was cold. There was a heater only in the bedroom. Room was not cleaned up from previous people (slipper I the closet, trash under spaces). Bed had waves in it horribly uncomfortable.
