Quality Inn & Suites Malvern

Room 118. King room. It is a very spacious room. It has a desk with chair. It has armchair with ottoman and side table. It has a nice size TV mounted on the wall. The water pressure is not very strong. good hot water. The wall mounted hairdryer was missing and that should’ve been caught by housekeeping. We had to go to the front desk to get a hairdryer. The shower has shampoo and conditioner. They offer bar soap and lotion at the bathroom vanity. The AC unit works very well. The room needs to be updated and cleaned better. The ceiling is a popcorn ceiling and there is dust all over the ceiling. That is a very easy fix to clean the ceiling. Just take a vacuum cleaner with a brush hose and suck all of the dust off the ceiling. There is not a smoke alarm in this room. There is a mini refrigerator with a little freezer area and microwave. The shower and toilet is separate from the vanity. The vanity is in the room. The biggest disappointment, and actually very aggravating of all, is the pool is closed for repairs. There is nothing on the website stating the pool is closed for repairs. With our stay being after Memorial Day, you would think they would have the pool ready for the summer. We will not stay here again.

Holy cow where do I start. We were in a bind. Our family van was having issues on our way to Texas (Saturday) and we had to stay here until Monday until we could get in to the Honda dealership on Monday. The original lady that helped us in the middle of the night was phenomenal, she made a room for us even though they were full due to 4th of July travelers. We were thankful we were greeted so kindly. That was where it ended. We didnt encounter one more kind person of staff in the three days we were there. We had to buy an additional day but after reading the reviews and the experience we were having with being overcharged (double charged and never getting the money back, etc) we made sure before our final bill was charged, it was correct. We were walked in on 3 times by the housekeeping manager, which by what the other housekeepers say, shes horrible to work for. Having them knock on doors before checkout time (she walked in in us 2 hours before checkout time 2 days in a row. (The prior day she said we didnt have the room reserved and questioned me while my children were in the room sleeping. I told her we booked an additional day because my husband was at Honda that day. (We did it the prior evening and everything was good.) She called the front desk and confirmed. What?! Why was i bothered and walked in on? Questioned that our card was declining. I'm sorry, housekeeping doesn't need to involve themselves with that. We had our card turned off until checkout because they kept trying to take out random amounts that we didnt speak of ever. When we were checking out of the room, she came in to the room again (I locked it this time while I used the restroom before we left because she had already came in that morning at 9, so I knew she wanted us gone. (We didnt do anything but stay here with our kids, we swam, and played family games in our room, we felt unwelcomed) maybe because we were a nice white family she hated us, who knows, but she kept insinuating we were going to run out without paying. I told her when I left she could finally have the room she so greatly wanted and she said, "your card declined". Again, why is housekeeping asking me in my room about this? I said, yes, my husband us taking care of this now, we have it turned off until we checked out because we wanted to verify they had the correct charge. (We already had 250+ charged for 2 days and they were trying to pull another $160+, which we only stayed one extra day, so it would've only be 85 plus tax, so we turned off the card. I wanted to leave so badly, I felt like we were being accused of some low-life family trying to run out on our bill but we dont look nor act like that type of family. It was rude and condescending, come to find out, shes the housekeeping manager and shes a slave driving natzi, I guess to paying customers as well. The staff was excellent. I loved the warm welcome when we entered and the information provided about the city itself. Breakfast was hot and ready to serve. Parking and other stuff was accessible.
