The service attitude of the outer islands is very good, the hotel is very cost-effective, like a paradise, the lunch and dinner are delicious, the breakfast is also good, but there are a few entertainment activities.

We were lucky enough to spend 5nights here in a beachfront pool Bure. The staff, food and surrounds were absolutely amazing! The staff made our trip they were so personable and attentive! Being able to kayak and paddleboard off the island to the most spectacular clear crystal blue water is a highlight. We would highly recommend Tropica and will definitely go back, thx Tropica for an unforgettable trip!

Our beachfront private pool bure was amazing and the perfect place to stay for our 25th wedding anniversary. There is no wi-fi in the bungalows and the atmosphere is so peaceful and serene - not to mention the most beautiful views - even when it rained on a couple days. We kayaked out to Rock island for our own private ocean swimming excursion and also did a guided snorkling excursion which was awesome. The staff at Tropica were truly the best - so incredibly caring and thoughtful. We also booked a private dinner out on the pier for our anniversary and they put together an unbelievable vegetarian meal for us. All meals were delicious and there were plenty of tasty vegetarian options. We stayed for six nights and didn't want to leave. If you can make it on a Sunday evening to hear the Tropica choir sing, get ready for a treat! Thank you to Tropica for making our special trip even more amazing than we had expected! Vinaka Vakalevu!!

4 out of the 5 nights I stayed in Tropica Island Resort, there was no water between 10pm and around 7 am. The staff were not able to provide reliable information on what was happening and kept giving different responses. There was no announcement in advance or proper communication. The other aspects of the stay were good; however, I can't give a high rating to this place because the guests should not flush their toilets with pool water during nighttime or be unable to take a late shower.

This was a relaxing and romantic vacation. Great opportunity to un-plug and enjoy the fabulous spa services, fantastic snorkeling opportunities, and amazing food with plentiful vegetarian options. Highly recommend!

This resort was so special. We didn’t know what to expect but we loved the intimate size the special location but most of all we love the tropica “family” who took such good care of us. The pool was spectacular with a wet edge to the beautiful view. The rooms had private outdoor showers and there was always something to do. Highly recommend this place where you can slow down reset and enjoy some Fiji time . Would return for sure.

The resort was beautiful but the staff made the experience. We didn't book the food package because we thought 2 courses at lunch time and 3 at dinner was just too much and we found after a large breakfast we didn't need that many, but all the food was top quality. We stayed in one of the Bure's with a pool and that was amazing. The outdoor shower was also great in fact the indoor one never got used. All the staff were so lovely, friendly and helpful it was so sad when it was time to leave. I wasn't sure about booking for 5 night, I did wonder how we would manage doing nothing but the time went so quick I should have booked longer. I would highly recommend staying just bring some reef shoes as there are a few stones at the waters edge.

We recently spent 6 nights at this lovely resort and didn't want to leave. As it is a small resort with no children it felt very intimate and tranquil. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was good and prices were similar to what you would pay in Australia. The breakfast menu was the same each day (a continental buffet plus a hot meal a la carte) but the dinner menu (a la carte only) changed each day so there was plenty of variety. The bure had a small bar fridge and a coffee plunger but you will need to bring food from the mainland if you want fruit or cheese as the resort shop only had a limited range of snacks such as chips. There was reasonable snorkelling from the beach but as expected the greater diversity of coral and fish was on the daily boat trips - we highly recommend Garden Reef in particular. They also have plenty of kayaks and paddle boards for guest use. If you want a peaceful beach holiday with Fijian hospitality, go to Tropica!
