Ohboy Hotell

There is nothing bad to say against the apartment itself, it is good value for the money compared to other Malmö accomodations, I actually liked it's minimalist concrete charm. The only thing I really didn't like is the bike that came with the apartment. As the place is calling itself "cykelhotel", I expected a bike that would be ready for use during my four days stay in Malmö. The bike was in such a bad shape though that it was rather an annoyance than a help. The chain kept falling off the sprockets, the front brake repeatedly blocked the front wheel, the right pedal kept flipping under my foot and the tires where semi flat. I looked through the rows of bikes in front if the apartments and realized that they were all more or less desolate. Please, Ohboy Hotell, either fix those bikes or drop the "cykelhotel" claim, raising false expectations in potential guests.

Great stay for Eurovision! Good communications up front. I asked to borrow a hairdryer upfront and they kindly lent me one. Good location - easily accessible by bus direct from Malmo station. COOP supermarket around the corner, next to the bus stop. Good facilities- fridge, oven, microwave. No bottle opener was the only minor thing. When I asked if I could leave my luggage somewhere they kindly let me check out slightly later which was so nice of them. Nice and quiet. Lock system worked well. Would definitely stay here again.

Easy check in with keyless entry via a keycode. We were on the ground floor at the back of the building. Bit dark in the rooms with only one window above the door and no direct sunlight due the the close neighbouring buildings and alley way. Outside looks a bit untidy but inside was clean and facilities were as described with a good supply of tea, coffee, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets. The room is compact with a harsh concrete finish and wooden floors. Compact and functional and competitively priced. Near to Lidl and a few cafes and restaurants and a 20 minute walk to the central station.

Great customer service, answered our questions and sorted out any problems quickly. Pleasantly surprised by the tea and ground coffee that came with the room. Gorgeous furnishings and very calm. Didn’t miss a kettle at all with the fast induction hob. Wish a teapot came with the room so I could make my tea when my friend was using the French press to make coffee though.

Stayed here for a few nights this summer. The rooms are "apartment-like" with beds and toilet downstairs and a small kitchen with table upstairs. I like the style, its Nordic, and little stylish, clean. It has a/c which was a bless since it was +30c when we visited Malmö this year. The location is nice with quite much restaurants in the neighborhood, and only a few min walk to the water. The price is really good compared to what hotels costs these days, so we are really pleased with this place and highly recommend it.
