I visit this place often! It is one of my favorite tranquil placed along the Malindi Coastal Beach. The Beach pool Bar and Restaurant is the best spot either for eating, relaxing or swimming. Kilili Baharini is a popular beach resort located in Malindi, Kenya. Situated along the Indian Ocean coastline, it’s known for its beautiful sandy beaches and vibrant marine life.

This hotel offers very nice services: we had a suite near the pool, it was gigantic (a bit dark), furnished and decorated with local products (big wooden beds). The bathroom is a bit old-fashioned but it's local in fact! As during our entire stay in Kenya, we found the staff great. What we liked most about this hotel is the food which is truly exceptional in its taste (and its quantity too!). We took full board and we did well (although we may have gained weight as a result!). The private beach is beautiful, with palm trees and fine sand. It overlooks the public beach of Watamu which is also beautiful (less touristy than Diani). On the other hand, perhaps because of the low season, almost no tourists during our 3 nights there (only a few business clients).

I’ve had massages in 7 different countries; from Thailand to Goa to Europe. This was one of the best. Charity was intuitive and without asking questions she knew exactly what to tackle, where to be gentle, how to handle this rather old body. Truly amazing …. A perfect last day in Malindi.

My experience was the best in this hotel. I love how clean it is and the sumptuous breakfast that they serve. I also enjoyed their starters during lunch especially the octopus soup( i have not found this anywhere else). Just improve on evening entertainment for guests

We had an unforgettable holiday! We toured a lot around Malindi and Watamu but we have no doubts in reviewing the Kiliili as the most beautiful structure! We were immediately welcomed by the owners with great kindness and availability in helping to organize excursions and everything we wanted. The entire staff, starting from Mary the director, is unique in terms of courtesy and attention to the guest. The rooms are beautiful. The food is excellent and above all the wonderful beach. A unique panorama made even more beautiful by the people who run the Kiliili. We will certainly be back Francesca

Beautiful resort with great staff that really care to make the stay perfect. Highly recommended. Rooms are large, pools are lovely and food was very nice, but best was the attention of the staff; always friendly and trying to help where they can.

Went there for my birthday for drinks and dinner. One waiter tells us we needed to order by 6.30 pm but another said we can order. So we ordered. To make it easy 5 of us ordered fish and chips, 2 ordered something else. 20 minutes later he came back to tell us there was no fish and steak was not available. So new orders. We asked how long it would take- he said no more than 45 minutes. We went to sit one hour later but no food was coming. I went to the kitchen hatch where another lady was also checking food coming out, and taking it to her table with many children and some adults. That’s why it took so long. Turns out she was the manageress! Wasn’t bothered about the paying guests! We finally got our food. Pasta portions were like a kids portion. Calamari looked unappetizing like a hosepipe. All very disappointing. Wine gave us a headache. We left after 11 pm and had started at 7! Would not go back

Wanting to relax for a couple of weeks I chose this resort for the umpteenth time, because everything is always perfect, from the shuttle service to Mombasa airport, to the welcome and the extraordinary location. The dishes served are Michelin star level and the cleanliness and order are almost maniacal. Congratulations and thanks for the wonderful holiday.
