Staying at Hotel Chocolat was a great way to immerse ourselves in the rainforest of St. Lucia. I'd recommend staying here for a few nights, as it is certainly worth it, but there isn't too much to do to fill out a longer stay. Room We stayed in a Luxe Lodge, which I highly recommend. The room was huge and had loungers that allowed you to enjoy the view of the Petit Piton and the resort's grounds. There is no air conditioning, and in the summer, it was still pretty warm at night. We eventually got a standing fan from the front desk, which helped a lot. Pool The pool was incredible. I remember thinking it was too small in the photos, but because the resort isn't that large, we never found it full. There was always plenty of space to swim and oftentimes we were the only ones there! This was a 10/10. Food The food was pretty pricey and was good. I don't think anything was too special, and I actually love chocolate! I just don't think the food was a showstopper except for the incredible pesto-style dip they served with the bread. I am still dreaming of that! Vibe This is a very relaxing place. It is quiet and there are even signs all around that say "Shhhh...Tranquility." So if you are looking to zen out, this is the place for you! Activities We took part in the tree to bean and bean to bar experience. They were both wonderful! We also had an incredible sunset yoga class that was free, which was a nice perk. Staff Everyone was great, but Gina stole the show. She was so fun and sweet to us. We loved getting to know her and seeing her everyday.

The entire staff at the restaurant, Henrietta, Crystal and Marvin, were simply OUTSTANDING!!! We were made to feel extremely welcomed and comfortable from out first interaction. They made sure we had everything we needed and were very attentive to every need we had. The food was stupendous! Crystal was amazing with her ability to create drinks for us that were not on the menu, and I must say they were so good I feel they should be added to the menu.

I’ve been meaning to write a review for a few weeks now. We stayed for just two nights, kid free (magical treat, thank you Dad and Ro!). This place is truly special. We absolutely loved it. Gorgeous view, cute touches in room (velvetiser, mozzie spray, sweet treats, outdoor shower). Lovely, helpful staff and excellent experiences (sunset cruise around the Pitons was , floating breakfast was different!). Top Tip - walk to Sulphur springs as a little Hike (get there early). Ask reception to sort a reservation for afternoon drinks at Ladera over the road. Do the chocolate tour. We loved it ❤️❤️❤️ we’ll be back when we can

Stunning location. Friendly staff offered excellent service with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Had time to answer all our questions, and being vegetarian, we had plenty. Breakfast was the best, especially the chance to sample all the different local fruits. Lunch and dinner were very well presented. Rooms are stunning with amazing views. Just be prepared for the mosquitos and the chorus of the night insects/frogs. No distractions of TV or loud music anywhere on site. Absolutely serene and tranquil. Do the nature walks, especially the Big Nature walk for the sea view, absolutely worth the climb.

Hotel Chocolat provides a unique and memorable experience from the rooms, to the restaurant, to project chocolat and the many trails on property. This experience is one forever etched in my memory. It is definitely a great place to spend your time to unwind and relax when taking time out of our busy schedules.

Great service and restaurant. We love the luxe lodge rooms, open air setting, lounging in pool area, and tree-to-bar experience. We hike/walked to the sulphur springs on a rainy day as well. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Restaurant delivered the best meals we had on the island. A romantic and quiet retreat for couples. Highly recommend.

The setting for this hotel is beautiful. Lots of greenery, rainforest lizards and birds and the grounds of the hotel are beautiful. The pool is very tranquil and not busy due to the size of the hotel. There is not always a member of staff at the bar and sometimes towels are hard to find. However, every member of staff at this hotel is wonderful. They are attentive, polite, great to chat to and a fantastic team! The breakfast food was phenomenal and the dinner meals were also very good, albeit a bit large for us. The luxe lodge was lovely. Lots of space and a full range of amenities. There are quite a few stairs so be conscious of this if you have mobility issues. We did the free project chocolate tour but they started without us which was a shame. The rum tasting was 30mins late which we wouldn’t normally mind but due to the heat it felt quite a wait. The rum tasting itself was great and Joel was very knowledgable. As it was our honeymoon and we had informed the hotel we did somewhat expect a congratulations or even just a chocolate or two for the occasion in the room however we didn’t get anything which was a shame. Other reviews did state they had quite a good welcome. Overall this is an amazing hotel and especially good for a short stay on the island.
