Ladera Resort

We recently returned from a four night five day stay at Ladera and it was incredible. First off, the rooms are like no where else we have ever stayed. Three walls with incredible views and privacy. Every room has a waterfall feature that drowns out any other rooms noise and also you can tell the resort is well designed that rooms are spaced appropriately. As for bugs/nature in the rooms- I was a bit nervous about this but it didn’t end up being an issue. We didn’t find the need to use bug spray while there and came home with no bites. I would tuck our mosquito netting into the underside of the bed at night and that seemed to keep any unwanted bugs out. I enjoyed the included morning yoga one AM and it was like my own private yoga/stretch session. I would highly recommend! I visited the new spa which was amazing and also did a workout in the gym and hiking trails. The service here is next level. It seems as though they have 5 workers to every 1 guest. It’s incredible. I left wondering how this hotel is only ranked as 4 stars. I’ve stayed at many five star hotels and this one knocks those out of the park. We know we will return again some day. It was truly one of the best trips we’ve ever had.

Every employee was so kind and helpful entire staff was very accommodating not only did we receive amazing hospitality, but the resort is impeccable! Absolutely stunning & unforgettable views and just lush beautiful greenery everywhere! Staying at ladera is something I recommend everyone to put on their bucket list!!

Our stay was August 12 - 15. I have traveled internationally to many locations and stayed in many top shelf resorts. Ladera is the best. I read a review that mentioned a guest waited for 45 minutes to check in? We never knew where the reception desk was until departure. Our taxi pulled up and two men opened the doors for my wife and I simultaneously and our butler was there to greet us. The men took our bags away and our butler brought us to a cabana waiting area where we were provided cool towels and cocktails. We arrived an hour before check in, so they escorted us to the restaurant and bar, where we were seated in THE corner with the best view. After one cocktail, our butler came to escort us to our room. He told us we had been upgraded from the Dream Suite to Paradise Ridge 3. We walked in and WOW! The view and the plunge pool will never be forgotten. Our bags were already there. Our butler provided us with a phone to contact him directly with anything we might need. Trust me, we tested this and every time he answered immediately and addressed any needs within minutes. My wife wanted a coconut to drink the water from, so I called the butler. He said he would have the gardener go get us a couple and would be to our room in about 15 minutes. The gardener showed up and trimmed our coconuts with a machete at our front door. We took so many photos and videos of the resort. The service here is exceptional from start to end. Do not even think about it, just pay the price and be rewarded. You only live once, and this is an experience not to be missed. Enjoy the vibe. Very relaxed and the staff is most professional, polite, and attentive. One thing to note, this is the only room I have stayed in that did not have a TV. I wonder why;) Oh I forgot to mention, enjoy the views of the Pitons and ocean through your room while taking a shower with a no-door or wall concept. Awesome to unwind and just relax.
