I can't recommend Hotel Signum in Salina highly enough! From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a warm and welcoming atmosphere that perfectly balances chic luxury with genuine hospitality. The magnificent views and breathtaking landscapes surrounding the hotel are nothing short of stunning; every window feels like a postcard.
Our room was beautifully designed—spacious, stylish, and filled with thoughtful details that made our stay feel extra special. The breakfast was delicious, featuring fresh, local ingredients that set a perfect tone for the day. But the dining experience was truly out of this world; each meal was a culinary delight that showcased the best of Sicilian cuisine.
A special shoutout to Laura, who was indispensable throughout our stay. She accommodated every request with grace and even organized a surprise for my wife’s birthday, making it a day we will never forget. The entire staff was friendly and helpful, ensuring that we felt taken care of from start to finish.

Skøn beliggenhed og afslappende atmosfære. Man er omgivet af en frodig, farverig og velduftende flora.
Værelserne er indrettet i en enkel men tiltalende stil. Der er forholdsvis lydt, men generelt er gæsterne til den stille side, så det generer ikke.
Selve hotellet virker en anelse slidt i kanterne og kunne visse steder godt trænge til en kærlig hånd.
Personalet er generelt venligt og imødekommende. Personligt, foretrækker jeg den mere uformelle og autentiske sicilianske stil og gæstfrihed fremfor den mere anstrengte snobbede stil, der typisk appelerer mere til italienere, der vælger denne type ophold.
Desværre, var vores oplevelse, at nogle tjenere var uopmærksomme, og, især, på gourmetrestauranten manglede præcision og greb om oplevelsen.
Man spiser godt, især de mere klassiske sicilianske retter, men prisen er alt for høj i forhold til kvaliteten. Gourmetrestauranten er ok, men, jeg må indrømme, at jeg, som kender af det sicilianske køkken, savnede mere dybde, mere siciliansk passion i retterne og mindre forsøg på at kræse om en international fællesnævner. De burde, på vinkortet især, gå hele vejen med sicilianske vine. Helt ærligt, glem Margaux her. Men, hver sin smag.
Jeg kan godt anbefale et ophold på Signum og kunne måske godt overveje at vende tilbage, men jeg ville nok foretrække at prøve andre restauranter, da jeg synes der er for stor ubalance i forhold til pris og kvalitet på maden, upåagtet at restauranten har en Michelin stjerne.

Overpriced and bad service
We stayed at Signum for one night. Rooms and reception desk was nice as well as the interior of the hotel. However the service at the dinner and breakfast was non existing and overpriced. Overall disappointed with our stay.

Pleasant stay. Easy transfer from port. Room was a touch small as was the TV. food is very good. Service excellent. Perhaps a little more anti mosquito measures like nets on windows and doors would be nice, also some measures at dinner also.

The Perfect Hotel in Salina
Everything about this hotel is amazing. I highly recommend this hotel. Beautiful hotel, inside, outside, amazing views, and great design. Very good staff. Very good food & cocktails. Amazing reception and service.

Perfect hotel for a couple, family, or solo travel. Beautiful grounds that immerse you in the gorgeous landscape. Excellent food, drink and service. Pool is stunning with views of the ocean. Walk to the beach with path from hotel. Spa with multiple jacuzzis. We had spa and breakfasts upgrade, I suggests doing this. The town Malfa is classy and peaceful. Very small town, with a delicious cafe- Irish Cafe. Walking distance to the port. The hotel arranged a private boat tour, group boat tour, and a few cabs. Thank you to Emanuela for your service. Other staff to thank are Luca, Josephine and the breakfast staff. We are from NYC and we loved getting out of the hustle and bustle, on a quiet italian island. Unbeatable views, peace, tranquility and good food. This is definitely best choice of hotel on the Aeolian Islands. I suggest 4-5 nights minimum.

Struttura immersa nel verde rigoglioso e nel silenzio. Una vera oasi di pace dove rilassare il corpo e soprattutto la mente. Camera molto curata con vista. Un vero luogo da sogno! Solamente un suggerimento: prestare maggiore attenzione nella compilazione della fattura, le cui voci devono corrispondere esattamente a quanto consumato dal cliente e all' esatto numero della camera.

Frequento questo hotel almeno una volta l’anno da diversi anni e mi considero un ospite abituale. Cerco di prenotare sempre la stessa camera perché mi da la sensazione di “casa” e spesso è stato possibile. Assenzio, una delle mie preferite (le camere portano il nome di piante dell’isola) è composta da una grande camera luminosa con due balconi finestra al primo piano ed una vista impareggiabile, ed anche un terrazzo dal quale si domina tutto l’hotel ed il piccolo paese di Malfa. alla mia sinistra la piscina ed alla destra i giardini. Letto, cuscini, biancheria ed i servizi dedicati alla camera ad i massimi livelli e confort L’ambiente circostante è semplicemente sublime, con l’idea di una casa di campagna al mare, con viste spettacolari e giardini con piante e terrazze che parlano di un luogo autentico. La colazione con servizio sorridente porta in tavola eccellenze del territorio ma anche proposte continentali. Sempre bello svegliarsi sapendo di poter fare colazione al Signum! La piscina con vista infinita sulle altre isole e la SPA con acqua termale con le vasche all’aperto è una oasi di pace e benessere. La famiglia Caruso ed il personale che collabora conoscono i desideri degli ospiti, le abitudini e fanno di tutto per farti sentire al centro di piacevoli attenzioni.
