Blue Bay Resort Hotel

Lovely hotel with great view. Hotel gave us a suite which look nothing like the pictures. Separate bed room and living room and a large balcony with great views. Staff are super friendly. Rooms very clean. I liked the food it was very Greek. We used the beach everyday and walked down the hill which was fine. Sunbeds are cheap and the Sea was warm. There are a few restaurants by the beach which are all good. I never stayed at the hotel during the day so I can’t comment on the drinks and cocktails at the hotel. We drank some rose with our meal which was fine. The cocktails issue which some people complain about is made clear on the website so not sure what people were complaining about. On retuning late afternoon to hotel I did notice the usual bar huggers for the free drinks . Pool was busy and again I noticed in the morning that we had the the sun bed towel reservation soldiers staying at the hotel. Plenty of sunbeds so why? Why sit each day in the same spot on the same chair by the pool. BA broke my case so I had to go into Agia to buy a new case. Trip not worth it. town looked run down with a busy beach full of tourists. Can’t comment at the entertainment as I never went. Overall great place with nice staff. Would I stay again no I will try the hotel opposite which looked more upmarket and hopefully no bar huggers getting the most for their money

Not a 4 stars hotel Doesn't feel like a 4 stars hotel at all, room decor inexistant, dated bathroom. The food was really not something special, just alright, and the drinks of the all inclusive disappointing. Not what I expected

The hotel itself and hotel area were amazing. The room was always properly served and cleaned. The terrace with jacuzzi was totally amazing - we had a chance to relax and enjoy the sunset looking at the sea view. The staff was very polite and friendly. The area was very cozy. Several big pools with bars nearby. Pools were not crowded, they were very comfortable and calm. It was also fun to participate in pool activities. Hotel provided a big variety of food (meat, fish, vegetarian) with (again) fantastic view to the coast from restaurnt. It was also interesting to try local Greek food. It was exactly what we expected. And finally, the coast was not far from the hotel (max 5 mins from hotel) - clean water, fantastic view , diving courses! We totally enjoyed the stay! Best recommendations!

Get your credit card handy. You can’t book in until you pay your “thanks for leaving the EU” tax. I assume it’s the same all over so no points off for this place. I strongly suggest you take your time and read ALL the small print before you book. This is ratted as a 4 star, I don’t know who or how they rate places. I have stayed in 2 & 3 star rated hotels for less money with better amenities. The food is ok for a couple of days then it very quickly becomes a 2 star. We stayed for 2 weeks at the end of October 2024 and all my 13year old son could stomach was corn & rice. I would take the legs of a low flying sparrow but for me it was “bland, boring & not enough options”. The entertainment was laughable, the DJ plugged his phone in then left, ALL the dance acts looked like qualifying stages at a year 5 end of term show. Venues for the shows also change so keep your eyes on the “information boards”. ALL inclusive as we know it, isn’t! Again READ ALL the small print. The hotel is lovely the staff are lovely the surrounding area is beautiful. There is absolutely nothing to do. For a proper “turn off” from the world it’s probably ok but if you want options then it’s not for you. We went as a family of 4 expecting a 4 star “over budget” treat, unfortunately got a very average 2 (NOT STAR). The holiday cost £5,300 with Jet 2 “All inclusive for 2 weeks. We spent £350 on a car, £200 on sun beds @ beaches worth going to, £60 fuel, £700 eating out. It’s a place I’ve been but will never return. I’ve looked online for next summer (out of curiosity) £9,870 for the same disappointment. My honest advice is keep looking, don’t settle on this hotel.

We went here for our 17th wedding anniversary for 4 nights,and this place did not disappoint, comfortable beds, immaculately clean and the food was outstanding, lots of choice for breakfast,lunch and dinner,pool bar snacks were brilliant also, few little shops down near the beach but this all inclusive was that good you don't need to go out to eat,wifi was good in and around the hotel,we would defo go back to this hotel, it was perfect from start to finish and made our time away even more special, thank you Blue bay resort.
