We were very satisfied. Rena is the perfect hostess, who also speaks German. The rooms were furnished with everything you need and were cleaned daily. Unfortunately, we lacked a wardrobe or at least a few hooks for clothes. The food is exceptionally good and varied. The staff is very friendly. The location is good; the beach is just a few steps from the hotel. Sun loungers and parasols are free all over the beach! We had a great time and would book again. We don't understand the bad reviews. Those who value luxury should book more stars. All in all, we had a wonderful stay in beautiful Amadoura. Thank you, Rena.

The hotel's doors and elevator are very thin. We were unlucky enough to have a high school class staying there, which was a disaster. Incredibly loud. Across the street is an open-air theater, with concerts on during that time as well. Sleep was out of the question. The breakfast and dinner don't quite live up to the three-star rating, especially the evening meal. The rooms were clean, and the towels were always fresh. The outdoor dining area was very cramped, as it was cordoned off. The reception area resembled a storage closet. The walk to the beach is truly just a few minutes' walk and a little piece of paradise.

It a clean, friendly place and staf. Very near to the beach. Good WiFi. The breakfast was delicious. The room was clean and the staff was cleaning it every day. There is a lift. A good and clean pool. No far from the beach and from the agreements also. Thanks 🙏🏼

Excellent hotel close to the beach and also very convenient for the bus stop for Heraklion and the airport. Very reach breakfast and friendly staff. Comfortable beds and very clean rooms. Everything you might need is at walking distance!!!

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Little and bad food, dirty rooms and the hotel in general, the bath towels were changed every 3 days. Behavior from the owner and employees awful no smile and politeness. I would never stay in this shack again!!

The Cretan cuisine by the cook of this hotel is excellent!! I was delighted! The owners and the server team are friendly and attentive to your requests! Hotel near Heraklion. Room a little dated but perfect bedding! The only downside is that the air conditioning doesn't work!! So you have to have a fresh damp towel to fall asleep to! I spoke to management who told me that the air conditioning was new… ok! But I spent a night with the same temperature near Balos beach, the 16 degrees in this room were not those of Marirena hotel... an effort please be made for travelers who after a day in full sun would like to recover the night of fatigue… Thank you
