Atlantica Akti Zeus Hotel

Wonderful hotel! Sandy beach, few people, quiet, excellent cuisine. Very nice spa salon, very atmospheric, nice staff, enjoyed the massage. The hotel gives you the opportunity to enjoy the sea, beautiful landscapes, and relax both soul and body.

We went on our family holiday where me and Ben got married, it was amazing. We were really looked after at this hotel,nothing was too much trouble. Maria helped with the wedding plan's at the hotel which were brilliant. Nikos(the head waiter) for the wedding,was brilliant. He even did a dance while serving us and our 38 wedding guests and they commented on his dancing aswell. We planned trips whilst there and the hotel provided us with our Packed lunches. The meals were great, then we toddle upto the entertainment terrace at night and the evening entertainment team were great,thank you for a great time away x Sammy and Ben.

Hotel is fantastic, really clean and spacious, never a queue for anything. Staff are really friendly, food is fantastic and the beach is right out the front. A bus comes right outside which will take you into the city of Heraklion and let you tour the city if you want. For the record, it is next to a power station like other reviews say but you really don’t notice at all. No noise, smells, spoilt views, it’s a total none issue. Use the spa, it’s incredible and very reasonably priced. Also a huge thank you to Nikos in the Remus restaurant, what an absolute gentlemen, we’ve never experienced service like it, an absolute gem of a man! My only criticism, and it’s very small, would be to put a shower screen on the baths as water ends up all over the floor. Rooms were cleaned every day and towels were replaced so it wasn’t an issue.

We travelled with TUI, the flight was late, then the transfer waited for an hour after we had all got on the coach for a couple who never materialised. Consequently we arrrived at the hotel at around 3 am. The receptionist gave us our key, advised some food and drink had been left in our room and waived us in the general direction of our room. After trundling around with our cases, we found the room. The food and consisted of a very soggy cheap cheese and ham roll and a bottle of water. Next morning we missed breakfast as we slept late, so we made our way down to the pool. Our hearts sank as we approached as music was blaring all around both pools with no escape. The beach sunbeds were all full, so we had no choice but to sit in the noise. Shortly afterwards the aquafit started so the music was turned up even louder, and appeared to stay at that level afterwards. As we had not been given a map of the resort we actually went to the wrong restaurant for lunch (pool bar), where the choice was limited. The food throughout our stay was very good, with plenty of choice to suit all tastes. The main buffet restaurant is exceptionally busy and you struggle to find a table outside every evening. We even had an incident where an extremely rude man came rushing up to the table just as I had put my hand on the chair to sit down and push in front of me and sit in it. The drinks are all cheap local brand spirits, but the beer and wine (except the red) are quite good, so we were fine with that. It is a shame that you are only allowed to use the greek restaurant once during your stay as this is the only place you can sit and be served with a table cloth and a general feeling that you are out for a meal, not in a cheap cafe with bare tables self service. The Italian restaurant is not included in the all inclusive at all. The Wifi barely works at all in your room. The pools were surprisingly busy with loads of children seeing as school term had restarted. It would be good if they put some swim lanes in the big pool to allow actual swimming. We went to the wine bar in the evening as this was quieter than the others with nice background music and less children running around. We did have a large group appear one evening who had bought their own music and speaker which they proceeded to start blasting around, I asked them to turn it off as there was already music. To be fair they did leave and went and annoyed one of the other bars with it, but shouldn't be a guest having to do that. We found the sea very dificult to get in with the rocks and quite choppy and cold. All in all we actually were glad to come home, which is not great. Finally we were a bit peeved in view of our flight times and the fact we didnt get to our room until after midnight on the first day even if the flight had been on time to find check out was 11 am and our coach didn't come until 9 pm. Tui should have negotiated a more appropriate check out for their guests, as it was we had

Weather in germany so cold already and we booked to go greece and choose akti hotel for our hotel to stay. My kids love it here because of the waterpark. They go there everyday morning and afternoon. Even Me and my husband had fun also in the slide. our room is quite small for us. The aircondition is not that strong but the breeze of the air outside of our balcony makes the room more colder and we like it because of the fresh air coming inside our room. gizzel from spa give us free massage and we booked right away because it was so relaxing. the hotel has incridible working people who makes our stay more unforgettable. They smile and helpful always. animation team are so funtastic. We enjoy playing the games. Foods are so good. Salute to the head chef there. the mountain view in the beach is so pretty. We went also to rogdhia 15 Mins drive from the hotel. Beautiful view there

We are so impressed to all the staff who worked in this hotel. They were helpful and kind. Our room is not that big but its enough for us. The view outside the balcony is so pretty. In an inclusive hotel that we had been to, akti has a lot of variety of foods that you can choose. All foods are so delicious. When the main restaurant is close you can go to snack bar and they also have lots of foods there to eat. You can take it with you. Beach area is clean and my kids enjoy playing there. Gizzel from spa offer me an ice effect face massage for wrinkles and its so good. Downside of this hotel are the sunbeds are not enough. I need to wake up early in the morning just to put the towels to have sunbed. Also the pool towels you cant change everyday. We need to wait after two days to change it. theres an age limit to use the waterslide.

The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The food was delicious and there were plenty of options to choose from. The staff was also very professional, especially Nikos from Italy, who we’d like to thank for being so kind and welcoming. Wonderful place.
