The hygiene is not good, there are fleas on the bedding, and the elderly were bitten five or six times. I checked on Xiaohongshu and found out that it was fleas. It is extremely itchy, and it has been itchy for several days and it is getting bigger and bigger... The buggy is very slow, and it takes more than 20 minutes to wait. There are many of us traveling. The agent sent the hotel the return flight a week ago, and the hotel also missed an early flight and did not arrange a boat to the airport. Fortunately, it was discovered the night before... I checked out and left for the pier to wait for the boat to the airport. The hotel said that the previously signed bill was missed, and I was taken to the front desk to sign it again. 😂 Be honest, the sea view of the hotel is beautiful, the island hardware and meals are all good, maybe there are too many rooms and too many people, the service has not kept up, it is recommended that you keep an eye on all the itineraries yourself and confirm them again and again

Overall it was a great experience. Enjoyed our trip. Definitely recommend Hard Rock hotel for stay. Serenity, beautiful, attention to details and service.
Few suggestions:
There was no sign or guidance provided to find mosque. I had to ask the staff and find it on my own. Request Hard rock team to please update sign boards for guest to find directions to the mosque.
After room cleaning , it left very bad odor in the room. Perhaps cleaning mob or water used was old.

The place is beautiful and wonderful. The food is very good. However, they were a bit disorganized when it came to an attempt on my part to upgrade my room. I asked on the 2nd day of our trip and they didn't reply. On the 3rd day I made another request and was told that there would be availability and we could change in the afternoon. When it was close to the promised time for the change, we received a phone call saying that it was no longer possible... When we went to reception in person to find out more, they didn't give us any plausible explanation and even charged us a different price to what had been agreed over the phone. Anyway, that part was disappointing... unprepared staff. Other services were done very well: internal transportation, restaurant services, transfers, cleaning, a surprise for our wedding anniversary, etc. Apart from the disappointment with the room upgrade, we enjoyed our stay.

The room was quite large, the newest of the three types of rooms we stayed in this time, with a modern, minimalist style. The minibar had six coffee capsules. It's a 20-minute speedboat ride from Male, an artificial island. The lagoon is devoid of seaweed, and there are few fish during the day. However, under the lights, we immediately spotted sharks, bluefin rays, and manta rays. It's the same island as Hilton's SAII, so you can enjoy the pools and beaches on both islands. The scenery is nice, though not as scenic as the center of the ocean. From afar, you can see the Friendship Bridge, a joint venture between Male and China. We went out to see nurse sharks, which cost $212 per person, which is not cheap. You can feel the frenzy of sharks right under your feet. The morning buffet was good, with BBQ prawns, steak, boiled mussels and scallops, and other seafood. However, we only ordered two meals, without alcohol or soft drinks.

I only stayed in this hotel for one night but it was beautiful and super cost-effective. There is also a Chinese front desk. I will go there again if I have the chance.
