The room was very clean, and the front desk staff, especially Lily, were very enthusiastic and patient. It was very convenient to get to the Ferry terminal, less than 300 meters away, and the local breakfast was delicious.
The flight took off late, and I was allowed to stay until 2 o'clock to check out.
The only thing was that it was quite lively outside and a little noisy, but I could accept it.

Good location, especially before departure, close to where the ferry to the airport departs from. Very nice staff, we left early in the morning, they offered to change the included breakfast for dinner, the restaurant has very tasty food

We stayed at Zan Lodge for 2 nights.The hotel is conveniently located, only about 15 minutes drive from the Velana International Airport. Airport pick-up and drop off smoothly organised by the hotel. Hotel staff were very helpful. They went out of their way to help when my wife was sick. Thanks to the receptionist for trying multiple hospitals/clinics to get help and other staff for taking good care including making special food. Special thanks go to Mr Nawaz who used his personal links to finally find a doctor whose service and care are much appreciated.
