It is indeed quite good, comparable to the domestic Hanting level. It is good to stay in a clean hotel in Male.

A week before staying at this hotel, I requested their help to book a taxi to the airport for the day I checked out. By email they replied that there was no problem, but that the cost of the service was $25 (390 rufiyas = MVR). I decided to wait until I was there because it seemed like an exorbitant price based on things I had read on the internet. My surprise was that upon arriving, I found out that there was a price set by the Government for transfers to and from the airport of 70MVR (about €4 at the exchange rate). The taxi driver himself told me that if the transfer was made at dawn (as was my case), there would be an additional cost of 5 MVR (that is, 75 MVR in total, which is $4.85 at the exchange rate). Upon arriving at the hotel, I asked the reception again if they could book me a taxi for the next day, and they told me yes but that the cost would be around $15-20 (less than what was requested by email a week before, but still a long way off). of the $4.85 it actually costs). Their excuse was that due to the schedules, there was an extra cost of $10-15 vs. the normal price (???). With a lot of anger, I have no choice but to accept it. The next morning while waiting for the taxi, I asked another receptionist different from the previous night how much the price would be, and he told me that it was around 100MVP (in 5 hours the price had dropped again to $6). When the taxi driver arrived, before getting in I asked him the cost and he told me it was $15 (230MVP), I told him that I was not going to pay more than 100MVP, and he told me okay (?). In total, what would have cost me $50 (round trip from the airport) if I had accepted what the hotel asked of me, in the end it was $8 for everything. Incredible how they tried to scam me in the face. All of this adds up to the fact that the hotel has a very high price considering how outdated and simple its facilities are.
