The Hotel was beautiful and the location was great the clean facilities were excellent and the service was exemplary. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Grand. Our problem seems to be with TRIP.COM. We paid our bill, a fact born out by our credit card, but we keep getting notices for nonpayment. I have tried to contact the hotel with no luck and no luck with TRIP.COM.

I stayed at the grand hotel as part of a group reservation. I also accidentally made a reservation myself and alerted them to the fact that there was a double reservation before the night that I stayed there. They refused to remove the double charge despite my complaint with AMEX. I will never stay in that hotel again, their service and attention to this was horrendous.

My husband and I paid a visit to the Matt Ryan bar last night to have a drink and some food. The lounge has obviously been refreshed and is still as comfortable as before. As always the food was delicious, I had the fish and chips and my husband had a pizza. Our waitress Erica was excellent, in fact the service has always been good there, a testament to the quality of the staff hired by the hotel. We will definitely be back.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel and totally overpriced for standard of accommodation and food. Rooms shabby and bathrooms in need of attention. Breakfast Luke warm and tables not tidied as people left. A very disappointing experience, which is a shame given how beautiful malahide town is.

We have stayed in The Grand Hotel quite a few times now. This was another return visit. Mandi checked us in and was very pleasant and helpful. Our room 407 is excellent. Lovely sweet plate left, which we appreciated. The room was spotlessly clean, cosy bed, and beautiful view. Breakfast has a good selection. We enjoyed a drink in the newly renovated bar, The Marksman. Love the new decor, it's fabulous. Enjoyed Rita Grand cocktail. Front lobby is also looking well! We love The Grand, great for walking into town, so central and plenty of car parking Thanks for another lovely stay.

had the most wonderful experience with my partner at the Grand Hotel. We booked a table for afternoon tea in the beautiful Bianconi Room, and the moment we stepped inside, it felt magical. The elegant furnishings and breathtaking scenery created the perfect setting for a truly special afternoon together. We chose a table by the window, where the soft light made everything feel even more romantic. Our server, Ting, was incredibly warm and attentive, making sure we were comfortable and happy throughout. Her kindness added an extra touch of charm to the day. Ting truly made our experience unforgettable ❤️. Thank you, Ting, for making our afternoon so special.

Stayed for three nights for a family wedding which was taking place in the hotel itself. Could not fault the staff or the hotel. We stayed in room 129 which was excellent with plenty of room and a separate lounge area. We didn’t get to eat in the hotel except for the wedding meal because a few events had been planned but the food and service were really good. The staff were amazing that day especially our server Sonia. We had small kids at our table and she couldn’t do enough for them and she really looked after us all. The only downside to the weekend was that I lost a piece of jewellery but after contacting the hotel the ring was found and stored safely until it could be collected. Thanks so much for that. We’re hoping to get back to Malahide soon to stay in the Grand as the whole area is now a firm favourite of the whole family.

We traveling to the US and had one night either side of our flights . Both stays were excellent with great quick check in and our room preference honoured. The hotel is currently undergoing a renovation and whist it looks amazing my worry is that prices will go up once it’s completed and this will be a real shame as it will not make it competitive with other hotels . We enjoyed our stays and would certainly recommend this hotel.
