The room is clean and tidy, the service attitude is good, the transportation is convenient, and the view is wide. I am very satisfied with my stay. The children also like it very much. I will choose this hotel next time. Like it 💕

We went there yesterday for lunch. It is a beautiful well maintained resort with villas overlooking the valley. The staff is friendly. It has lots of plants and flowers around. We had lunch for 4 which came to almost $400.00 Obviously they cater to the ones who have expense accounts. Wines are totally overpriced 3 to 4 times the liquor store prices. The chef put on Swiss dishes which were okay. We are two retired Chef/Restaurateurs and do know what we are looking at. The Shrimp dish was nice but stil spicy without Chorizo. We had the sliced pork tenderloin Zurichoise, a cream sauce with mushrooms and what he called Roesti, which were potato pucks deep fried too many times you could not even cut them!! And had absolutely nothing to do with Roesti potatoes. We had some nice Rye bread which by the way cost as $2.00 a slice!. I do not know who can afford those attrocious prices today? We usually have a nice bottle of wine when we go out but refused to be ripped off. Otherwise lunch was good.

Large, nice room, nice staff. Unfortunately, the spa staff was inexperienced. Biggest issue was the restaurant that is highly rated. Our waitstaff was very good but hampered by the kitchen. One meal had to be sent back to be reheated. Ice cream was half-melted. Kitchen was slow. Also, host was unaware that there was a separate vegetarian menu. We'd seen it online and liked the offerings but were told it wasn't available. The gym has minimal equipment, and after two weeks on a road trip on Vancouver Island, I was really looking forward to it. Not up to par for a luxury hotel. It's worth the price for the rooms but not if you plan to use the hotel's other facilities.

We recently stayed at Villa Eyrie in the Villa Aquila and had a generally enjoyable experience. The hotel has many positive aspects, such as an excellent restaurant. The room was well-appointed and comfortable. The view from the resort was amazing. However, there were a couple of issues that affected my stay. The air conditioning unit in my room was quite loud, which made it difficult to sleep at all. It would be great if this could be addressed for future guests. Additionally, I noticed that the room was not cleaned daily, which was a bit disappointing for a hotel of this standard. While the staff were quick to assist when I requested additional cleaning, it would have been more convenient if this was done routinely. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend Villa Eyrie if those concerns are addressed to enhance the guest experience.

Spent a night in one of the master suites and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Friendly staff, beautiful location, spotless room with a spacious bathroom and separate jetted tub. We will definitely be returning for a longer stay!

Beautiful location and views, perfect for a special occasion and just a place to relax. There’s a spa on the premises and restaurant. I recommend the restaurant, most dishes we had were excellent. The staff is welcoming and friendly, will address your needs.

This resort is in a remote area. We were in a suite and drove our car down to that building. There were a lot of steps from the parking lot just to get to our suite which was a factor for us as Seniors. Then 2 or 3 more steps to go up to the bedroom and 2 or 3 to the sitting area. Plus about 6-8 steps from the bedroom to the patio. Views were very nice. In the middle, between the 2 living spaces, open to both rooms is a very deep round bathtub with columns around it. I tried the tub but found it a bit difficult to get in and out of safely. Pretty but not practical. We were told we could walk up to the main building for dinner but we could never find doors or signage & we were not given a map, so we drove back up. The bed was comfortable with nice linens. I think our biggest lament (aside from all the steps) was that there was no dresser in the bedroom area. Just shelves in the closet. A chair in the bedroom would have been nice too as it was large enough to accommodate both.

Just love this hotel. Could have spent much longer at the Villa. We had booked a classic room but got an upgrade to a villa Aquila suite. The room was gorgeous. The views were amazing and the room was huge and comfortable. The restaurant was also fantastic with great food service and views. It was convenient to sightseeing and some active pursuits.

We have stayed here 4 times. This last visit left a lot to be desired. I wrote to the manager about 3 or 4 issues and got a phone call which ended up rather wildly testy. I had complimented a guy on reception - no one wore name tags so I described him as "black". One server I described as being "middle aged". As far as I can figure out from others in the hospitality industry and health industry, using the word "black" is not a slur. The manager finally told me I was not welcome back at the hotel.
