Sol Málaga Guadalmar Hotel

The hotel is fantastically located directly on the sea. All rooms have frontal or side sea views. On one side, there are apartments, on the other, a natural plot with parking. Nice for those seeking peace and quiet, but boring for those who might want to stroll in the evening. A taxi ride to the airport, downtown Málaga, or Torremolinos costs around €17.00, each 15 minutes. There's a bus stop in front of the hotel, line C5, and it's about 40 minutes to the port of Málaga city center. The breakfast and dinner were always excellent, very tasty, varied, and constantly replenished. Very friendly staff, fast service. We already had a renovated room with light-colored furniture, and everything was always spotlessly clean. The room doors, however, are a disaster because they have large gaps and there's no handle to open from the outside, so you can only close the door loudly. The pool doesn't open for swimming until 11:00 a.m., making it impossible to swim before breakfast. Sunbeds, beach towels, and umbrellas are free and in good condition. There's a discreet sports program, a table tennis table, and a tennis and soccer field. The bar lighting is uncomfortable, as it's far too bright, as you can also eat à la carte there.

No tissues, no kettle. No room with sunrise view, which I mentioned to the front desk. But I could see part of the sea and planes taking off and landing. A good seafood restaurant nearby was closed.

The location is remote, 20 minutes drive from the ancient city. The room is relatively large, and the facilities are old. The hotel pictures are modified, and the sea view room can't see the panoramic sea view at all. The beach is full of small stones, and there is no seaside holiday atmosphere, but the buffet dinner is cost-effective

Four-star hotel, the bed is not small, the room is not big. The attitude of the waiter is very average; I will not stay here again next time! Tip: If you bring children, you must choose a room that can accommodate children.
