Wunderschönes Setting, nette Mitarbeiterin, dafuer der eine Stern. Leider reichte mein Spanisch nicht aus um vor Ort die Beschwerde zu formulieren. Kommen um 11:00 mit dem Taxi aus Malaga an, wie zuvor per Email angekündigt, Zimmer fertig, beim Check in wird uns dann mitgeteilt das Restaurant sei heute zu. Die nächste Gelegenheit sei mit dem Auto in 10 min zu erreichen. Schweren Herzens entschliessen wir uns dann, die Nacht zu streichen und schon heute, wie eigentlich für den Folgetag geplant, zurück zu wandern. Kein Versuch die Situation zu retten, keine Entschuldigung, nur ein bedauernder Blick wurde uns zu Abschied geschenkt, ob wir wirklich laufen wollen? Ich kann nur jedem raten die Konditionen vor dem Ende der Stornierierungszeit noch mal gegen zu checken, wir sind sehr enttäuscht, hatten dann aber doch noch eine schöne Wanderung.

Si buscas desconectar fuera de la civilizacion este es el tipo de hotel que buscas! Un poco lejos de Malaga pero perfecto para estas con la naturaleza!

A few years ago, (August 2016) me and my family (husband and two small children) got lost by car in the mountains of Malaga. It was dark and terrifying and we all got very anxious. In the middle of the night, we gladly found this hotel (which was not ours) and rang the doorbell. The manager was so very kind: he even opened up the kitchen, prepared us food and offered us a bottle of wine and did the phone call to our Airbnb. The hotel was fully booked, except for a room for two. They organized two extra beds in it, so we could sleep the four of us. We enjoyed breakfast and I promised to leave a good review on Tripadvisor. A little (!!!) late, but here it is. Still thinking of the hospitality we received that night.

If you want seclusion away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place. Away from the main road, but with access to great lookouts and hiking paths!
The property is a bit old but the staff care for it how they can. Expect waning luxury, but clean and livable rooms. It gets cold in the winter so bring some fluffy PJs.
Staff is helpful and pleasant. Sometimes the jabalí show up--one was there during dinner.

The food could be better, some of it was good, like the salat and croquets, but there where other dishes with meat there were to dry.
But it doesn’t bother us, the location is perfect if you want peace, very nice staff, good cleaning and even that it’s old, it’s still in a good condition, from our experience in there biggest room with king size bed and tower.
In my opinion people there gives it only one or two stars, they should be better prepared or have a better look at what they’re booking, compared to Spanish standard, it’s not bad at all this hotel, you get a good service.

Etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber wunderbar abgelegen mitten in der Natur. Sehr netter Service, bequemes Bett. In 40 Minuten am Flughafen Malaga.
