Málaga Lodge Guesthouse

The landlady was lovely and very polite, quite different from my typical Spanish impression. I arrived at Malaga in the morning, and she let me store my luggage in advance. When check-in time arrived, she carried my luggage to my second-floor room, a small affair. She kept this three-story guesthouse in excellent order. My room was stunning, with hotel-style decor, central air conditioning, a fan, and a small balcony with a street view. The bathroom was shared, so I had to be mindful of shower times. The only downside was that the streetlight was right next to the window, and the curtains couldn't block out the light. I slept with this warm glow all night, but other rooms didn't seem to have this problem. When checking in, be aware that the large courtyard next to it is a hospital, which looks a lot like an inn. Don't mistake it!
