Αν εξαιρέσεις το προσωπικό που ήταν ευγενικό και προσχαρο το όλο δωμάτιο ήταν τραγικό!!Πολύ μικρό που δεν μπορούσες να σηκωθείς από το κρεβάτι λόγω έλλειψης χώρου, το δε κρεβάτι ήταν ότι χειρότερο έχω βρει καθώς το στρώμα ήταν σκληρό και έτριζε αν ήθελες να γυρίσεις πλευρό!!Στο μπάνιο το καζανάκι έτρεχε όλη μέρα και αναγκαστηκαμε να κλείσουμε το ρουμπινε!!Τέλος το κερασάκι στην όλη διαμονή ήταν ένα υπέροχο ηχείο ακριβώς έξω από το δωμάτιο μας που έπαιζε όλη μέρα και το μεσημέρι ασταμάτητα καθώς ήταν το μπαρ!!Γενικά ήταν ένα μπουντρούμι των 100 ευρώ

This hotel is a hidden gem. The location is goegeous, the rooms are splendid and original, the views are terrific, the personal nice and helpful, the owner is charming, and goes the extra mile to make your stay special and her breakfast are wonderful. Highly recommended!

Incredible spot, the hotel is in a great location, right in the heart of the traditional settlement of Makrinitsa. We were particularly impressed by the high architecture of the place, as it consisted of 4 old mansions which had been completely renovated and shaped into a small boutique hotel. We stayed in a wonderful room that had a view of Volos and it was wonderful. With many facilities and very comfortable and spacious. We will definitely be back for more days at some point!

Visited the hotel’s coffee bistro for morning coffee. However it was closed. We then continued for breakfast with wife and child. I received the answer that they cannot serve us since it may affect the quantity for the residents . Although we had breakfast the 3 out of the 4, and have offered to pay full price for 4 while only one would get some breakfast. After some discussion , we were allowed to have a coffee and order from the catalog . When we asked for an orange juice strained because the child has allergies to the orange seeds , we received an other answer that they do not have strainer in the kitchen. We presented one we have for such cases to receive another answer that they will serve us in 30minutes because they were busy serving the clients (all in all 3-4 tables! With buffet serving). Overall service experience , politeness and ability to service the customer below ANY LEVEL of expectation.

Excellent stay! Wonderful people! Perfect hospitality! I highly recommend! We have visited it both in winter and summer. Perfect for any time of year! Cleanliness excellent! The best value for money in the area

How long does it take to boil the kettle and give a tea bag? In this place you need to wait until all guests are served their cofee to drink your tea. And it may come after you finish your food, just because the owner prefers it so. For a breakfast on a Sunday morning I waited more than 15 mins to be served a cup of tea - I even went to the bar to take it myself- but I was refused. When the lady finally brought the tea and I complained, by saying tea does not take long to prepare, her response to me was to shout! SO WHAT she said, 2 times! I would like to think that she is lost in translation, but no, because she spoke perfect English. The staff is kind and very hospitable. I can't say the same for the owners. It is unfortunate not be able to show kindess and hospitality that is expected from the business of hospitality. More, she did not apologize later, even when she had the chance. So if you go to Karamarlis, beware that you may face some attitude problems. It is a pity because the satff is very kind and friendly.

Amazing hotel in good convenient location. Access to large dining area.Comfortable suite with great shower. Pleasant helpful staff. Good food and the restaurant and good parking near by. Strongly recommended without hesitate.

So kind staff working in this great boutique hotel. Our room was nice and wonderful, Breakfast buffet dishes were all superb. Rice milk, vegetable pie, pumpkin pie, doughnuts all were delicious! At Cafe Bar Bistro we ate an exquisite focaccia and pizza. Also a variety list of wines. Fair prices for everything. Easy parking, easy check in - out. Definitely I'll be back next summer.

We had great moments in this unique place. The breathtaking panoramic view was terrific! Room had many features inside like the soundproofed windows, a/c, minibar, refrigerator, TV and the room service was great! Breakfast was rich with many options on the morning buffet. Strongly recommended.
