We stayed here two weeks in early July and were very satisfied. The hotel in general is an older building itself but there are blueprints of the planned renewal to see at the reception, so good luck to the managers with that! We stayed at one of the reconstructed rooms with astonishing seaview and were happy about it - that made our experience much more pleasant. We need to mention the positives first: free parking, really exclusive food!!! - almost all of it felt like homemade - bravo for that, great positioning - just a few minutes walk to the beaches, friendly and mindful maids, affordable price (the booking was made months in advance thru a Czech tourism company as a First minute). The few negatives: totally lame wifi, all in all the restaurant - everything is so old there - not really a place for a romantic dinner. But the food as we mentioned was simply amazing. Another negative was the overcrowded beaches.....it has nothing to do with the hotel but beware - the Makarska beaches are really beautiful, the water was so clean, pure, but with so many people!! We always had to spend quite some time to find a more free spot. All in all, we liked our stay! Would like to pass our sincere thanks to the cooking staff!!
