The Diwa Club by Alila

We were at this resort (the Club part) in October of 2023, and had decided to return at least one more time as we were so impressed. So in September 2024 we returned, and to our delight our expectations were more than exceeded when we found that we were in the same room as last visit (a very nice touch as we loved that room location), a lovely message of "Welcome Back" on the bed. Diva Club has a concept of breakfast any time between 7 am to 7 pm. So no rush to be there at crack of dawn!! and the breakfast is not buffet but alacarte and a big menu (could really call it brunch). The room was huge with a big 65 inch TV with netflix, Prime & Hotstar so you can log in and watch your own stuff. Buggy to the beach was a peach and the beach is pristine white sand and miles of it. I have nothing to say bad about the property. If you are going to Goa for a chilled out time you cannot beat this place.

The entire hotel is beautiful. The club part was even better. The rooms take your breath away. Big rooms with high ceilings overlooking the pool and lush greens. A big deck to sit out with large sofas. The massive bathtub deserves a special mention. The rooms are so good you dont want to leave. The staff are very friendly and really go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Front office staff is exceptionally warm and helpful. The hotel is extremely kid friendly. Lots of amenities, kids play area, indoor games, mini theatre, 2 swimming pools, spa and lots of open spaces including a tree house. The beach is a ten min walk away, they have a beach shuttle to ferry you to and fro. Several dining options in the hotel. If you book the club then you get access to all day breakfast, chai-pani in the aftnoon and sundowners in the eve. Overall here is a place you go to relax and you just do not need to step out. I highly recommend Alila Diwa Club.

We stayed at the Diwa Club and it was one of the one of the very rare ones which bears an exceptionally close resemblance to premium properties to those in Bali or South Asia. The property (Club Diwa & Alila Diwa, it's bigger sibling) is spread across a large and an exceptionally lush green area. Water bodies are aplenty spawn across with multiple green open areas within and in the surroundings. The two swimming pools are large and set in beautiful & idyllic environs - one facing the local rice fields & the Diwa Club one adjoining to the building and there is greenery in good measures all over. The Diwa Club rooms are exceptionally spacious (600 sq.ft.+) with beautiful sit-outs and separate washroom areas - easily one of the largest standard rooms/suites anywhere in the country. The rooms are well-appointed, clean and well-maintained. Excellent facilities - the pools, gym, curio shop will make your stay so much better and more enjoyable Their F&B options are top-notch with a wide variety of options with exceptional taste and fairly well priced. However, their service in all their restaurants & bars - Vivo, Edge, and the Bistro at Diwa Club stands out. For beer lovers, please try the brilliant beer margaritas concocted by Saurabh at the Diwa Club bar SERVICE: Excellent hospitality extended by the entire staff: - Kasuga & Kartik from the mgmt. team - Denzil from the concierge - Panchram from the security - Vivo: Kumar, Soumen, Bhavesh, Martha, Ritu, Soumnath, Aditi, Chef. Tenzing & Sachin - Edge: Yash, David & Bikram (bartender) - Diwa Club pool: Rohit - Diwa Club restaurant: Saurav, Chef Imran (sorry, may have got his name wrong), and the entire staff there were exceptional - Diwa Club FO: Chelsea, Ashim, Preston, Aradhana, Hrishab, Vivesh, Ram, Shivraj & Deelan We'll definitely be back.

We stayed for two nights at Alila Club, planning the trip just three days before our arrival with the intention of enjoying the property and having a relaxing getaway. From the seamless check-in process to our departure two days later, we did not encounter any issues that required attention. The quality of the food and the exceptional service at Bistro and other restaurants made our trip truly memorable and relaxing. Special mention goes to Chelsea at the front desk and our host, as well as Brendon at Bistro, who went out of the way to meet our requirements.

It's a beautiful property. Very well made. I was given a free upgrade and it was lovely. Staff is extremely helpful, respectful and courteous. A big shout out to Chelsea and Christopher at the property for making everything easy

Would like to recognize the following Diwa Club Front Office staff for excellence in service. Ruella, Aradhana, Viresh, Hirshab, and the rest of the team. Also, would like to recognize the event manager and Daniel at Alila Goa FO who gave us a tour of the rooms and facilities of the main property. Housekeeping Team was great, unfortunately we couldn’t get their names as they did their job and serviced only when we were away. Please recognize those who serviced D166 18th-22nd of August. Declan, Chef Subash, Raju, Shivraj, and Carlito at Bistro were all phenomenal! The most notable staff during my stay was easily Brenden who provided a high level of service at all times for the entirety of our stay. Shout out to the staff at Edge and Spice Studio, we apologize for not getting your names. Strong F&B product as expected for a Hyatt property in India especially at Bistro, Edge, and Spice Studio. I didn’t try Vivo but my mom and our friend did morning breakfast once and had reservations that their was an emphasis on quantity but not quality of the buffet. The Diwa Club rooms and amenities is definitely worth the additional premium. The base rooms are significantly larger, functionally junior suites. The option between breakfast buffet at Vivo or all-day breakfast at Bistro is generous. Chai paani and sundowners were great offerings on the days we were on property and we were sad on the day we toured North Goa as we missed out. The hotel is some distance from the airport so having transportation included was highly appreciated. These inclusions are really fantastic gestures that make Diwa Club guests feel special. We also felt highly valued as Globalists and appreciate the upgrade to a Diwa Club suite as it easily accommodated our group of 3. Breakfast is included for most Diwa Club guests regardless of status. Perhaps a way to recognize the Globalist breakfast benefit as a separate inclusion is to add a third option of in-room breakfast. Improvements to the property could be the stability of the WiFi connections, cleanliness and maintenance of the beach, and offering more complimentary yoga sessions to Diwa Club guests.

What a wonderful stay we had at The DIWA club at ALILA. Beautiful property and the ALILA Host always made sure our stay was wonderful. The attention to detail in every aspect was just outstanding. We will for sure be visiting the place soon.
