I stayed in the village of Lac and was amazed by the hospitality of the locals. I had the opportunity to participate in a traditional Xoe dance performance and even learned a few steps myself. Drinking rice wine with the villagers while listening to their stories was a truly unforgettable experience. The highlight of my trip was spending a night in a traditional stilt house. We had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. The surroundings were beautiful and that’s itself made the experience enjoyable. Rooms were very well appointed and comfortable. The hotel also has a lovely pool with poolside bar where drinks are made using fresh fruit. The spa is also good. The only disappointment was the food. Given how much good food there is in Vietnam, the food here was truly disappointing.

We booked 1 room for relaxing weekend in May. Hanoi is very hot but Mai Chau is very cool and fresh. So we stayed 3 nights at Mai Chau Villas instead of 2 nights as expected. We really enjoyed exploring the space aroud this villas. The best experience is to enjoy local clean agricultural products. Hotel staff make me satisfied with excellent service. The natural scenery is nothing to discuss, so beautiful anh peacefull ! Will come back to Mai Chau Villas many times with my family anh friends !!

Excellent facilities. Boutique type lodge. On main road so ask for a room at the back. Very clean. Excellent food. Limited wine but still good. Thai dancing display. They work extremely hard. Lots of places in nearby villages selling local ethnic foods. Swimming pool. Long way from Hanoi. It’s where the locals from Hanoi go for holidays. Sunny. Cooler than the city. Too far from Halong bay in a day

It is with great pleasure that we share this address of happiness in a adorable large and beautiful Vietnamese family with small care during our 6-day stage. We have all taken our rich, varied and succulent meals on the advice of Huong and Chung our dear hosts. Mai Chau fantastic region to come to discover for these sublime rices enclosed with a mountain barrier wooded the feet in the rices. We left them with many shared emotions, we will come back.

Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough! We stayed here for a week and it was absolute bliss, total relaxation. Our room was lovely and the pool/view are out of this world. The staff were all lovely, they were really friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. We can’t wait to go back!

This is a boutique hotel (family run business). The view from the hotel rooms is so beautiful with a mountain/ rice field view. Breakfast is good and comes with many options. Breakfast is ordered to cook and freshly made. There is a restaurant within the hotel and the home cooked dishes are delicious and healthy (not oily). We have dinner more than twice in the hotel and the food is yummy. The owner of the hotel and his family are kind and helpful. They help with our itinerary planning in Mai Chau/puluong. They gave us a lot of suggestions for the restaurants and itinerary planning. They also introduced a nice tour guide to us for our puluong trip. When we came back from our outing the next day, they made up our room and changed our towels. Their services are beyond words and they really go all the way out to help their customers.

It was a dream stay in the wonderful resort! The villa is super, the pool and the view point offers wonderful views over the mountains and restaurant races! Breakfast is top, Vietnamese and western.
