Antsanitia Resort

I recently stayed in a bungalow at this resort, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. When I first arrived, I discovered that the shower was broken. The pipe had a hole in it that sprayed water directly at my face, making it unusable. The Internet was not working either. Despite their efforts to improve it by placing a hotspot in my room, the internet was completely useless. If you need to conduct any online business, this is not the place for you. The door connecting to the outside did not reach the floor, so I had to push a towel against it every day to keep insects from entering. The bungalow itself was outdated, and there was no comfortable place to relax inside except for the bed. The only other piece of furniture was a hard plastic chair, which was far from inviting. If you plan to bring a tablet or laptop for entertainment, don't bother because the internet simply doesn't work. Additionally, the resort provides only two small bottles of water on the first day, with no replenishments afterward. This was quite inconvenient, especially considering the remote location of the resort. Speaking of location, the resort is extremely difficult to reach. You must travel down a dirt road for many miles, which can be quite challenging. The only positive aspect of my stay was the restaurant staff. They were kind and caring, providing excellent service. However, this was not enough to make up for the numerous issues I encountered. Overall, I cannot recommend this resort based on my experience. The bungalow was uncomfortable, the amenities were lacking, and the internet was non-functional. If you decide to stay here, be prepared for these challenges.

What a disappointing trip. My husband and I were looking forward to a few days enjoying sitting on a balcony watching the ocean. Traveling with another couple, we had both reserved ocean room bungalows. Our friends had a beautiful ocean view while we were placed in the cabin behind them with a view of a wall with some tropical trees. When I checked at the desk, I was given a strange story about our room being an ocean view though in a different category. (I speak French so my confusion in her explanation had nothing to do with language). I asked if our room rate would be discounted. The answer was no. We paid the very same as our friends with the ocean view. About an hour later, the hotel offered us a villa located quite a distance away that did not have A/C. We declined given that we were in the hot season. The grounds of the resort are beautiful and the food was good, though it was hard to get a glass of white wine. For a resort like this, it was surprising that white wine was not readily available. When I asked for rose instead, they had a half glass left and gave that to me at no charge, promising that by dinner time (2 hours late) they would have at least one bottle of white, one bottle of rose, and one bottle of red available. All in all, we would not return to this hotel. Our purpose for going was to enjoy that ocean view, which we did not get.
