I had stayed at Chariot about 5 years ago. the service was good at that time. But even at that time, one of the rooms (we had booked 2 rooms) had an AC issue in the middle of the night. AC was not working.
This time, the resort was full and crowded and they were not able to manage.
The breakfast spread was really good, but the service was pretty average. They seemed to be in a rush to clear out the tables to accommodate the next group. So, couldn't really enjoy the good food in peace.
The paanam bar and service was good
The checkout time is at 12. But we had a hotel representative ring the room bell at 9 asking when we will check out. While it is understandable they need to know when we will check out, it's not professional ringing the bell and disturbing guests. They should have called the room and also the call should come after 11 am and not 9 am.
The room was also pretty old and dated.
Overall, not very happy for the price we paid.

The private beach was great and easily accessible from the rooms. But the rooms itself were very poorly maintained. Other infrastructure like swimming pools was also poorly maintained. Food and restaurant was average and not worth the prices. Good only if you are interested in the beach

The chariot resort is well maintained and wonderful ,the property is very well maintained,the service was excellent, and the scenery and amenities made it a memorable trip with my family
However, what followed after checkout day was quite disappointing. I got a call next day from the front desk about some missed bill, and they asked me to transfer money to a personal UPI account. The staff member (Ram) kept pushing me even after I explained I was busy right now , I will do it once I got time, It was their mistake, yet I was pressured unnecessarily — very unprofessional follow-up that ruined the overall impression.
I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and ensures better professionalism in post-checkout communication

It is a good place to stay with family. I enjoyed the walk on beach and spent good time with family on beach. Food is also good. I felt the food is bit expensive.
