loved My Stay! we had such a great time at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome .they were always kind, helpful, and ready with a smile. we appreciated , and it really made a difference. The hotel is in a beautiful, peaceful location, surrounded by stunning scenery that instantly makes you feel relaxed. Whether it's the view of the sea, the mountains, or a charming garden, every corner offers a sense of tranquility. Sitting on the balcony, I could hear nothing but the gentle breeze and the occasional birdsong—no traffic, no noise, just pure calmness. The atmosphere was perfect whether enjoying a morning coffee or watching the sunset in the evening. It truly felt like an escape from the busy world The room was super clean, and the whole place was so quiet and relaxing. I slept like a baby! about the food… wow! Every meal was fresh and full of amazing Greek flavors. I looked forward to dinner everyday. If you’re looking for a cozy, peaceful place with great people and delicious food, this is it. Can’t wait to come back! 😊

Beautiful place to stay, a little out of the way but that was what we wanted for this holiday. Our room with swim up pool was amazing. The hotel is located on the side of a hill and there are some steep slopes to navigate! The whole resort was clean and tidy and staff were really friendly but they maybe could do with more staff on reception at busy times as they could be rushed off their feet trying to help everyone. Restaurant Dimitra is where you go for breakfast, lunch and evening meal- it's self service buffet style food. There is a decent selection of things to eat but sometimes it was repetitive. Restaurant Villani is open 11.00-19.00 and provides snacks including pizza and chicken nuggets. There are 3 pools to choose from plus a child's pool. The infinity pool is lovely with stunning views. The bar staff are friendly, especially Manos who was always cheerful. The drinks on the all inclusive package were fab including a cocktail menu. There was entertainment on in the evenings including Greek dancers with (some) audience participation! The hotel provides a free bus down to the beach which is only a 5 minute drive and there are 12 time slots to choose from. You can also book to go to Rethymno town which is €8 return and half price for children under 12 (there are 10 time slots to choose from). We explored the venetian marina, saw the Rimondi fountain and looked round the back streets with little shops tucked away. We also went to the 16th Century Fortezza which has an entry fee of €4 for adults. (We were there at midday in the middle of August- probably more cooler and shadier places to be but an excellent experience none the less!) We had a fabulous week at the Rimondi Grand and I would stay there again but I think it's more of a 4 star rating than 5. Thank you for your hospitality and for making our holiday so enjoyable!

We stayed at Rimondi for 8 nights and loved it. It was a gorgeous stay with amazing views. We did all inclusive. PROS- nice pool areas, lovely service, food was ok, pretty and nice views, fun entertainment CONS- overpriced drinks after the all inclusive shuts, very hilly (needs to make that more known in description), a bit away from shops and restaurants, rooms where very small(we was hardly in them so we didn't mind)

Me and my boyfriend have been back to grand rimondi every April for THREE YEARS just because we are so in love ! So affordable but the standard is HIGH! I personally would recommend driving as on the island it's hard to do a lot by foot but best holiday ever !!!

It's a shame to say that this hotel did not live up to my expectations towards the end of our stay. We arrived being extremely happy overall until the latter part of our trip. The junior rooms with private pools (make sure you book the right room, as there are junior suites and junior suites with private pools) were spacious, bathrooms good quality, large shower area and powerful, take your own hairdryer if you have long or thick hair though, also lacked an armchair in room. All inclusive reasonable, cocktails were premixed so quite weak, beer palatable but if you are used to drinking premium beer it will taste watered down, spirits available on All Inclusive from 7pm until 2250 (random) Good selection of food at meal times. However where we were let down and an establishment will show its true colours is when an issue arises and this is where there was a huge downfall. On arrival we were told that as no one was going into the room after we left, it would be possible to keep the room on, as the hotel was shutting on 31st Oct, the last day of our stay. However it was clear that the hotel started closing down alot earlier than that. We booked a spa hotel, to have access to these facilities, however these services were not available for the last 3 days and the spa was closed, no treatments available. Items were packed up in the shops also. We were then called on the 5th day of our stay to ask what time our transfer would be. I said approx 8pm, as we had a late flight. We were then sent a whats app message an hour later to say the hotel was closing at 11am. We went to speak to reception. Not one apology, they just kept saying, staff need to get flights home and there were only 4 guests left in hotel (us) no facilties would be available and we could leave our bags at reception or get an earlier transfer time!!. The manager had made the decision and 'it is what it is'. There was no apology, until we mentioned it, which was then given half heartedly. There was an absolute lack of respect for us as guests. Shame on you Rimondi Grand Resort and spa. This is not how to treat customers when they have paid alot of money to stay in your resort.

We spent the last week of October, since the first moment we felt welcome. Staff from reception, dinning area, bars, cleaners have been so friendly making our stay really comfy. Hotel is nice, clean, calm, perfect for disconnection from stress. There is a small shop of souvenirs and they sell also crisps and drinks in case you fancy something extra. The hotel offers you a variety of services and has different swimming pools to make it quite and relax. WhatsApp service in case you need anything during your stay (we use it and they replay instantly and was really useful) also we used laundry service (first time ever) and was perfect, same day we got clothes clean and folded in our room. We definitely recommend this hotel and we hope to be able to be back.
