My mum and I stay on Medhufushi for 2 weeks. When we first arrived we had an issue with our room as it was far away from the island’s amenities, and as my mum has mobility issues we needed to change to a more central room. The staff accommodated this well. The food was amazing! So much variety, plenty of options for all. My mum needs a gluten free diet, so we spoke to the chef, Anukumar, who was so helpful in guiding mum to all the food options that were gluten free and making sure there were always option available. Anukumar went above and beyond during our stay, he would come and speak to us at every meal time to check everything was ok. And even bought me a specific fruit I asked for, which was a lovely surprise. Our waiter, Sajin, was always a joy to see at every meal time, always bringing smiles and excellent service. I scuba dived for the first time, and ended up doing 3 dives in total with the team at the resort. They took me out on a full day trip and we saw Manta Ray. Once in a life time experience. If you like a more authentic, rustic island stay, I would highly recommend this resort!
