Manjushree Homestay

I booked Manjushree Homestay through Agoda, which indicated that I could pay at check-in. I messaged the property through Agoda to confirm my booking. However, when I arrived at 2 pm, the homestay caretaker and owner informed me that my booking was not confirmed, and my room had been allocated to someone else. I showed them the messages from Agoda and highlighted that their phone number was not listed on Google. They offered a room for one night and said they would move me upstairs for the next night, which turned out to be an under-construction rooftop. Day 1: The room was in an old house that had been repainted. It had old ceiling fans and no AC. The bathroom door couldn't be closed due to a heater gas pipe running through the window, leading to a lot of mosquitoes. The caretaker provided a mosquito coil and incense stick, but the mosquitoes were too persistent. Day 2: After returning from sightseeing, I found my bags had been moved to the top floor. The front was very open, with the rooms and toilets all inside a single clay roof with a huge gap between the ceiling and the room. I lost sleep and peace fighting with mosquitoes and insects and left early in the morning.
