Palm Beach Island Resort & Spa Maldives

How sad to think that I will never see my paradise on earth again. I have never written a review of the Palm even though it was my favorite destination for fear that too many people would discover it. The last time we went was in 2012, it was already the 6th time. Impossible to describe the perfection: amazing sea, exquisitely Italian food from A to Z (for me who am intolerant to all the various spices and non-Italian flavors it is no small thing), all the services that one could wish for: 2 free excursions a day, often we saw the Dolphins that took us back to the island, tennis courts, squosh court, table football, excursions with a speed boat, excursions with a jet ski, even a cassette rental. Breakfast / lunch / snack / dinner complete with everything difficult to forget the crepes with Nutella in the afternoon and mint tea, the wonderful pasta for lunch and dinner and the grilled fillets, fish burgers, papaya ice cream ... never eaten so well not even in Italy. The Maldivian staff who worked there were all so nice and smiling, they remembered people a year after another. Please give me back my paradise, it was beautiful just the way it was without changing anything. It was Italy in the Maldives....what would I give to go back just the way it was, how sad. Can something be done to have it back like that?

I was there about ten years ago and it remained in my heart the island of my dreams. Paradise in every sense from nature to the management of the village if I could I would go back tomorrow too, but the true traveler changes destination and so the most beautiful journey will be the one you still have to do......
