This is a relatively new property with lovely common areas. There are some drawbacks to consider. 1. Daily room refreshing is on request only. The issue, during this stay, was despite requesting both at the front desk upon arrival and with the subsequent text from staff, the room was not refreshed. 2. More concerning was the fact the air conditioning was not operating properly on our first night. Both the room and the onsite restaurant had no, or perhaps very little, air conditioning. Florida, in July, without air conditioning is a problem. Imagine watching the server at the restaurant wipe sweat off her face with a towel and then resume her work. This was remedied by night two, but I remain annoyed that I had to bring this up with an indifferent staff member. 3. Mandatory valet:staff were very friendly, but be aware anytime you want to access your car you will have to wait. Every time. 4.Location: Simple walk to the beach. Few/no restaurants in walking distance. Nearest coffee shop is about a 20 minute walk. Too far from John’s Pass to comfortably walk in the summer.
