Granted the location is not conducive to walking outside of the guarded perimeter, but inside you can stroll through the orchid gardens and admire the carefully groomed landscaping. The staff are very friendly and our happy to help and answer questions. Although I didn’t appreciate security smoking outside my window during the night it was a bit annoying, I have an overall appreciation for this place. I give an overall four out of five star rating because They advertise Wi-Fi but there is none, they advertise complementary airport shuttle pick up but it cost 40 Kina. You’re sure to enjoy the view from the waters edge restaurant. The sunrises are fabulous. This is family friendly

Its was a good experience staying at Madang lodge hotel. It was quiet, the staff was friendly, the food was great and perfect. It was truely an escape away from reality. Beautiful memories were made. Would love to visit it the next time I visit Madang.

We loved the Madang Lodge Hotel! We stayed in one of their apartments overlooking the swimming pool with a view of the Pacific Ocean. Our most memorable things are: swimming pool, air-conditioning (with backup generator for power blackouts), friendly staff (especially Martha & Daniel), comfortable rooms, good food, good security, beautiful gardens (staff with excellent attention to detail) and an on-site artist/ sculptor who will do a custom carving for you!!!! We will definitely stay there next time we're in Madang!

Madang Lodge one of the hidden gems around madang, situated 5 to 7km from the airport, call n arrange transportation Excellent accommodation,very roomy, select house type or lodge rooms hot spot wifi, gym and fitness, Rooms facing sea beeze, highly recommended
