Hotel in excellent city location. Nice but a bit tired room, lacking in some amenities (eg some amenities not replenished daily). Regarding room amenities fridge not working. Good breakfast.

Nice hotel, well located, simple but quite good enough for the overnight stay. The ladies at the reception were fantastic and extremely helpful with all our queries and requests. Highly recommend for a no frills stay and use as the base for your visit to the island.

The room smelled like sewage on the second day.
They asked us to leave at 11 am when the website and email stated that check out was between 7 am and 12 pm.
Guests were not greeted at the reception when they arrived and left. The same thing happened at breakfast. We came and went and the staff didn't even look at us.

Nice hotel, excellent quality/price, 5* service and comfort, very good breakfast, with a lot of variety and very good products.
The only thing they could try to improve is the internet, which doesn't get a good signal in the rooms. On the rest floor (reception, breakfast room, bar, etc.) you get a good signal, but in the rooms the signal is very weak. But regardless of that, the hotel is very pleasant, as is its staff. I recommend it.

Location is the only good thing about this hotel. Beds are VERY uncomfortable and gave me a rash all over my body. Food is subpar. Staff are ok. Air-conditioning did not work which left me unable to sleep. They charge extra for things like the sauna, which other hotels don't charge for!

It is not acceptable that the Hotel, knowing that the customer cannot attend due to no flight, does not agree to change the date of the stay. It is not acceptable. This desire to make a night's profit is not good for the Hotel or for Azorean tourism, demonstrating a total lack of common sense.
