Our team of eight, arrived 18/01/25 mid evening and told dinner was not available! Eventually, a small cold buffet was provided, better than nothing! Reception was also closed, with our door key cards left on the counter with our information on it. Only one of the two lifts were in in operation for duration of our stay. Had full board, but the food was bland and not very hot and limited options. Roast lamb and beef were served on a couple of occasions, but the meat was hardly cooked and blood just poured out. One of our party was ill after eating the lamb! No English translation for the food, only in French. Evening entertainment was in French. Dining room gets very crowded and lots of young noisy children running around. Pool area is nice, unfortunately the hot tub was not available. You have to book the sauna and be prepared to share with strangers. Breakfast is served to 9.30 am, if you didn't arrive before 9.00 am there wasn't much left. Our room was pretty good, with comfortable bed and pillows, nice bath with a shower and great views over the mountains. (Room 902) Other members of our party won't so lucky, with uncomfortable beds, lack of a safe and no chairs at the dressing table and stained bedding. One week into our stay, at 9 am, the cleaning team just walked into our room without warning, telling us we should have vacated the room . We told them we were there for another week and they left without apology. We later found out this had happened to others too. Day before checkout, told we had to settle the bar bill before 9pm that day, so we weren't able to use the bar on our last night, they don't take payment at the bar. We were also refused lunch on the last day, unless we paid for it. The staff were friendly and helpful, but I wouldn't rate the hotel anywhere near 4 star. If you do decide to stay, take shower gel etc. and a kettle, as they charge 50 euro to hire one. We bought one at the local Spar for 21 euro.

Our group of friends stayed here for one week in January 2025 on a half board basis. The rooms are doubles but can be split to twins which we did. The room itself was huge! Big balcony facing the slopes. Boot room on a ski in / out level. The ski out pathway leads to part way down the Arpette slope. From the bottom there are a couple of lift options and further on to the whole area. Plenty in the area for all abilities with stunning views. We were blessed with excellent skiing weather, The outstanding element of this hotel is the staff. What a happy friendly crew they are! Big shout out to Ines in the restaurant for her huge smile and lighthearted personality. We would certainly stay here again or at any other MMV group hotel in the area.

The beds are very uncomfortable, dirty and stained (yellow stains), only 1 of 2 lifts working throughout our stay, very little or no English translations for breakfast, lunch and dinner, evening entertainment is in French only, food is largely bland, TV in the room is far too small given the size of the room, no shower gel or shampoo provided. The list goes on. Don’t waste your money staying here, you’ll be better off staying somewhere else.

We stayed at this hotel for a week with my one year old and 5 year old. Generally it was a lovely holiday. Our room was spacious. The room was clean and if we left the sign on the door it was cleaned while we were out. There was no shampoo or body wash of any kind which was disappointing for a 4 star hotel. The staff were all friendly and the food was good - pasta and pizza daily for the kids. The location of this hotel was not ideal as it is a bit of a walk up to the main ski area - especially where the kids had lessons. The pool was also freezing and far too cold for kids which was disappointing. I did have a spa treatment which was great. My biggest disappointment was the kids entertainment / baby club. The first day my little one was taken outside for the morning down to bellcout by only one girl and there were 4 babies which seemed a bit unsafe. The second morning when I went to collect they were all watching something on her phone so didn’t seem very interactive. I didn’t put him in the rest of the week as wasn’t comfortable with the level of care. There was also no communal space for kids to play if they weren’t in the clubs which was a shame. Overall it was a good visit but I wouldn’t recommend if you are going with kids under 5.

This is our second stay at Les Deux Domaines, and it was terrific. The staff are welcoming, can speak fluent English, and are very helpful with any issues you have. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained, with amazing views of the mountains. They are also always cleaned to a high standard. The food is perfect for families, with food for kids and more sophisticated options for adults, including wine on tap. The bar has a good selection of drinks. The swimming pool is large and has magnificent views of the mountains. A special thanks goes to: -The Bar Team, Manon and Valentin, who kept my family well-oiled throughout the holiday. -The Reception Team, Adrianne, Corentin and Adèle, who helped with any questions. -Julie was always on call to help and advise on the best way to enjoy French cuisine. -Gabriel, who made sure our room was spotless. -And most of all, Sebastian, the manager, keeping all the clogs turning and makes the experience perfect. I look forward to returning next year for another fabulous ski adventure.

I’m an American living in the UK (for context) and I stayed here for a week with my young son for a ski holiday. Rooms are quite spacious with lovely views overlooking the mountain. But that’s where the positive experience ends. Child care and protection are NOT up to standards as one would expect in the U.S. and in the UK. The “inclusive” Kids Club is run by young entertainers (maybe early 20s) who are not qualified child care professionals. They are also severely understaffed. The resort states that they will shuttle the children between the hotel and their ski school lessons. But the location of the resort requires walking in the middle of the street and a fair amount up a snowy hill. With only 2-3 staff to watch 20-30 kids as young as 4yo to 10yo, safeguarding children is not at all their priority. My son was horsing around with another kid. And one of the inexperienced entertainers/“child care” staff grabbed my 7yo by the front of his the throat!!! In speaking with the hotel manager Sebastien, the manager acknowledged that the staff should not have physically touched my son, but offered no apology… and wouldn’t look me in the eye. He seemed distracted, as if he wanted to escape the conversation. He even admitted that the staff were simply entertainers not qualified childcare staff. AVOID THIS RESORT IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN!!!
