Super 8 by Wyndham Macon West

Absolutely unacceptable experience. As soon as we checked into the room at Super 8, we noticed roaches crawling around. The room felt dirty and poorly maintained, and there was no way we were going to stay the night in those conditions. We immediately left and found somewhere else to stay. Save yourself the trouble and book somewhere cleaner and better managed. This place needs serious attention.

The smoke detector had not been checked and needed a battery. It beeped all night because I was too tired to find the number and call the desk.

The coffee was excellent, the waffles as well, the dining area neat and clean. The staff are nice and helpful. The area is good with lot of options for dining and shopping.

Need to be remodeled

This place is absolutely terrible. It isn't worth saving a few bucks. Go to one of the other nearby places. Just like the other reviews from years ago... the "wifi is broken" but they only tell you that after checking in, seems like that is a common lie they tell. There is no breakfast, even though it says it's included. They told us the whole hotel was sold out but every curtain in every window is open and i can see with my own eyes that all the rooms are empty. There are only 3 cars in the lot and one of those is mine. No working ice machine. ONE towel for a family of 4. And when I asked for more he made me come get them and then wouldn't even give me more than 2. No toilet paper in the room, no tissues, clumps of mud on the floor. Mini fridge was unplugged and hot. 0% chance I would ever stay here again. There's plenty of better options nearby for not much more money.
