My family stopped at this hotel for the night during a long road trip. We spent $350+ for one night and were very disappointed. The room felt dated and dingy. The mattresses were very uncomfortable. The linen was thin and rough. There was a bug in the bathroom when we got there. The bathroom ceiling looks like it had been patched up several times. Our room was a wheelchair accessible room so there was a roll-in shower which is fine but the handheld shower mechanism wasn’t working, so the shower head was knee height. The shampoo container was empty. I have typically had good experiences at Hilton Garden Inn so between that and for the price we paid, I do expect better quality. I will never stay here again.

Our vehicle was broken into, and we were robbed. Five other vehicles were also broken into on the same night. (Early morning 9/12/25) We had been told at check-in that campus police patrolled, and were assured our vehicle was safe. We observed no cameras. We discovered the break-in ourselves around 9:30 a.m. The hotel manager was not helpful, but one of the staff helped us by vacuuming the glass from inside our vehicle. None of the staff would discuss, saying they needed to keep their jobs. Campus police, at least, talked to us. We had stayed there previously, but no more.

Poor maintenance in the room made for a poor experience. We had a handicap accessible room due to my husband's mobility issues. The room was and particularly the bathroom was in terrible condition. There were loose tiles on the floor which was a real hazard for my husband. Everything was old and worn - the bed was soft and saggy.

The location is awesome but that’s about it.
The individual at the front desk when I checked in was rude and acted as though I was just bothering them. The room was fine but the TV remote was not working correctly. The location was fantastic but that’s about it.

The beds were old and did not have any support in them. The gentleman in the kitchen was so kind and friendly, but the lady taking the orders at 7AM hated her job. She was fussing about why so many people was up at 7AM.

The room was quiet, beds were comfy, conveniently located by the interstate, and the hotel clerk said security regularly patrols the parking lot. One night stay with great sleep. Appreciative!

We are at the beginning of day 3 at the Hilton Garden inn Macon with no hot water in our room. I have notified the front desk 3 times. I called the first day and was told someone was looking into it. I called the second day and was told "okay". On the third day I walked to the front desk, asked to speak to the manager. I was told that it has been a problem, I was given an apology and offered free breakfast. I was told I would need to return the next day after 9am to speak to a manager. This is completely unacceptable. This would be a health code violation where I live. I will be contacting city officials here in Macon Georgia.
