We drove up to Gnaraloo Station and the beach to have a look. Not what we expected at the end but good to have seen what is available. They have built fabulous stone cottages with sea views that look beautiful and are $220 a night.Be great for a group of friends to have a couple of the places next door to each other as you are quite secluded up this end of the Ninagaloo.Coffee machine was broken when we visited which was a bummer but looked like a nice spot.Didnt see any facilities for stocking up but didnt go inside the office

If you want a more real experience, that is based on nature, and love the ocean, this is the place for you, the basic accommodation is part of the charm, so beware if you are seeking a 5 star travel experience based on luxury. To enjoy this place that's exactly what you want to get away from. Its dusty and real, the cabins are equipped with the basics, and you can get a clean shower, but keep it short. The stars at night are like nothing I have ever seen, the beaches are beautiful. Sadly people now park on the beach which never used to happen. If you want a 5 star hotel and room service go to the Bahamas, if you want a real experience of 4x4, surf, beach, exploration and environmental eco living, go to Gnaraloo.

A fabulous place to stay ‘off grid’. We stayed for 3 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The 70 odd klm road in was not for the faint hearted, we were lucky to have vehicle and caravan suitable for ‘off road’. We were concerned half way along that we were not on the right track but persevered and found this beautiful remote, happy campsite. We don’t surf or fish (the two main activities) but we walk and loved watching the surfers and fishermen going out on jet ski’s. Bathrooms were adequate but obviously with so many using they were a bit grimy. Friendly staff and other campers resulting in donations of fish (red snapper)after a big catch.Yummo

Scrappy campsite not suitable for vans over about 4m, rude staff (November 2021), lots of noise from generators and drones. This place is booming during covid, but once people can go literally anywhere else thats what we'll all be doing.
