Fantastic stay and the most comfortable beds ever. We stayed here as we were going to pub in the woods. It was a perfect location and Peter the host was fantastic and really friendly. The Amber suite was amazing and we couldn't believe how much space there was. We will definitely be rebooking in the future. Thank you again.

A basic but lovely rural setting accommodation. I liked the simple yet nice place which would serve the purpose if you are looking somewhere to live in the region. The venue we needed to go was only 5 Min walk. The host - Peter was very approachable and welcoming and an interesting person - a music lover. I highly recommend the place.

What a lovely place to stay! Very comfortable room with separate but private bathroom (robes also supplied), quiet location, superb hosts - responsive and informative. Secure parking. The music room was amazing! Thank you to Peter and Al!

My host was super helpful and was v accommodating. Location was great as I was without a car and wanted to walk as I stayed there with two dogs. Room was very clean and contained everything I needed. Breakfast was ideal for me. Thoroughly recommend to future travellers

Peter was a very good host and made us feel relaxed and welcomed . It is not your usual sterile and soulless chain hotel . The bathrooms were modern and very clean as were the towels and bedding! The house itself is also the owners home and is lived in .

I booked this as it was reasonably close to the wedding venue we were going too. Excellent communication from the host prior to arrival. Very comfortable room, loved the speciality teas, fresh milk & water provided. Lovely view of the gardens. Very pleasant and welcoming host. Would stay again.

We had an excellent stay at Mackworth house. The host was very courteous and welcoming and the room pleasingly furnished, in a lovely old house. Instructions for finding the house were good, easy convenient parking, excellent wifi, comfortable bed and generous bathroom provision. Such a nice quiet country location. We found there was a good pub in walking distance which also opened early for breakfast.

Seersucker dressing gowns and feather pillows here give you some idea of the way guests at the charming Mackworth House Farm B&B are hosted. We've experienced nowhere better for high standard and value. Highly recommended. Many thanks Peter.

Lovely welcome and a quiet comfy stay, supplied with fridge, bottled water and fresh milk for tea and coffee. We have stayed twice now in two different rooms, so much better than a corporate style hotel. Peter has suggestions for a full cooked english breakfast near by but we were happy with continental.
