HORRIBLE!!!!!!
The room stunk of urine. The carpet was filthy. There was mold/mildew around the faucet. The bathtub drained poorly. The shower water didn’t hold a temperature, it ran hot and cold. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The refrigerator was rusted. Worst of all, the refrigerator stopped working overnight and my spouse's insulin was ruined. When we checked out we told the clerk the refrigerator had stopped working and our insulin was ruined. We were told sorry. No offer to pay for replacement or to refund our money.
Even if the refrigerator had worked properly we would never recommend this facility to anyone. The of the room stench was horrible.

From the description, I was expecting it to be closer to Mackinaw city downtown district. I didn’t feel comfortable walking from the hotel to other attractions. It is a short drive though and parking was not too much of an issue. The room we were assigned did not match what we selected (we selected a one bed room and we had two beds — the 2nd bed was just in the way) The condition of our room was not great. For instance, the lampshades were ripped, the wallpaper was peeling. I was not a fan of the mattresses in our room. They were both very soft. The price was good though and we had other things to do so we didn’t spend a lot of time at the hotel except to sleep. The pool looked nice but we didn’t try it.

Average at best
You get what you pay for. Front desk was great and helpful but room was a disappointment. Wallpaper was ripped, sheets were stained with blood (they gave us fresh clean sheets to replace them) and room was average clean. Shower worked great, that was the only real positive. But we wnet for inexpensive and that is what we got

The room was very small and I thought an extra $50 for our 2 dogs was too high.
