The room was alright. Had a smell of musty to it, but, it wasn't TERRIBLE! No microwave was kinda lame. They say breakfast included, but, very limited... Coffee/juice, muffins, breads. Location is ok. Its nice that its on the lake...cons- Arnold ferry is right there w all their bright lights! And, its a parking lot looking toward the lake. Sn- I didnt see vending machines. Overall, it was pleasant. The rooms look pretty and the beds were very comfy

The room was dirty. Hot tub was dirty, nor did it work. When I said something to the front desk lady about it being dirty, she said, "well it doesn't work anyway". So you just leave it filthy ?? I had to body slam the door every time I tried to enter the room. There were tiny bugs all over the air-conditioning unit. Room didn't get cleaned and no clean linens nor were we told we had to ask for that.

We are at Days Inn by Wyndham- Lakeview Mackinaw City Mi. The pictures are not what we received. I am discussed that we spent $249 to stay here. Check in 7/4/2025 check out 7/5/2025 - Air Conditioner was hit on the outside. I am shocked that it worked. - the seal on the door was not there and light was coming through - the blue paint from front of door was on inside frame - Molding along the floor was broken, loose, or missing - There is a crack in the ceiling, between the beds from one wall to the other - Paint and wallpaper is peeling in several areas - The hairdryer holder is coming off the wall - the support for the desk fell down - the lights on the wall have 2 different shades We will never stay here again.

The last crappy hotel in Mackinaw City? I don't know, but definitely seems like it. There was an overwhelming smell of cleaner which was definitely covering up some kind of mildew or rot. There were bugs in the light fixture. The shower didn't work. Garbage behind the nightstand. No available outlets so we had to unplug things to charge our phones. Lamps that didn't work. The smoke detector had a low battery and kept chirping. Mattresses were outdated and had a blanket or something covering them instead of a mattress cover. We paid a premium to stay here during a holiday and the place seemed pretty full. I hope the Owner uses that money and invests in some actual updates. Mattress covers, light bulbs, and batteries aren't that expensive.

By far the worst hotel experience I've ever had. The place looked condemned from the road, upon check in - there was already a group of guests expressing their concerns with their below-par experience. Out room was upstairs, which the main staircase by the lobby has 3 or 4 stairs that were rotted and felt very unsafe. The room itself was just bad. The beds had no fitted sheets, and we discovered this by just sitting on the bed and the sheets pulling and tugging. These beds were the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on... There were no USB outlets at all, so glad I brought my wall warts... The room was missing trim, the bathroom light was extremely dim, the light cover had a massive amount of dead bugs in it... The coffee machine had wrong sized coffee inserts, luckily much much larger than needed... Our room being right by the stairs experienced near earthquakes every time someone used the stairs... DEFINITELY not worth the money paid. I woke up more tired than the night before. Oh, and their idea of "free breakfast" is cheap coffee and stale muffins and bagels...

Room was great, hot tub was perfect, and the views are breathtaking Given the price I would definitely recommend staying here my only issue was that the coffee was amazingly weak and that I hadn’t brought enough money to do everything on my list for our trip

I would never ever stay @ the Days Inn by Wyndham Mackinaw City-Lakeview . Bad experience. Room/Rooms unsatisfactory/unacceptable. Completely unlike the pictures on the Website... Mackinaw City Chamber of Tourism. The rooms just did not look too welcoming. Cleanliness issues-bedding stained, etc. Refused the rooms July 2024. Please READ THE REVIEWS. I read the reviews on the Days Inn Website going back to 2020. Fast forward..... 2024......the same-o same-o........."worst experience", etc.

Great Price, Great view! decide to take a trip just on a whim to Mackinac island. This place was very affordable, the room was cozy. with a balcony and wonderful view of Lake Huron. Discounts galore, and the ferry is right in back of your hotel.
