Baymont by Wyndham Mackinaw City

Nice location. Kind workers.

After a disappointing experience at another nearby hotel (we were ready to pay just to get out!), staying at Baymont was an absolute relief. From our very first phone call with Krystal—who was incredibly kind and helpful—we felt welcomed and well taken care of. The entire staff was friendly and attentive. I even saw someone stop to straighten a picture on the wall—a small detail, but it showed how much pride they take in maintaining the property. The hotel itself was clean, bright, and clearly well cared for. Our room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and the whole atmosphere felt safe and inviting. The complimentary breakfast was decent, and more importantly, the dining area was clean and well-organized—another strong sign of good management. Moving forward, Baymont will be the first hotel I look for when planning future stays. Thank you for turning our rough start into a relaxing and enjoyable visit!

The hotel is very clean, the rooms are nice sized and the beds very comfortable! I love not having to bring my own shampoo and conditioners anymore. The hotel provides free toiletries. Less to pack. It’s very close to the main part of the city so you can walk everywhere. They have breakfast which is adequate for a quick breakfast. If you are visiting Mackinaw City or the island, this is your place to rest after a day of walking.

This is an older hotel that served our purpose. We needed a place to stay after a day on Mackinac Island and before our drive home to Cincinnati. We had to ask for extra pillows because we needed more support from the 4 skimpy pillows offered. However the king bed was comfortable. There is only 1 elevator, but the stairs were wide and well lit. The staff was friendly. The property is just the hotel and a parking lot. We expected more from Mackinaw City. It is a very cheesy, touristy, weird area.

Nice Hotel. Very clean. Friendly atmosphere. Easy parking. Simple breakfast perfect for start of the day. Pool and hot tub clean. Close to everything. Laundry on premise Grocery Store across the street. Close to ferry if you decide to walk. Less than 8 minute walk. Nice entertainment in center of mall area. Walking trails near by. Definitely would stay again.
