It's not too far from the main street, but it takes a few minutes to walk to check in. You won't be given the room in the photo. I tried my best to give you a water view room, which is very small. Although there is a small balcony, it's completely unusable in cold weather. I'm sure I'll go again will not consider this again

Fabulous updates, great location, our own balcony, friendly staff, nice breakfast…We stay on the island for at least a couple days every summer. This will now be one of our go-to options.

Wonderful stay at Harbor View Inn. Very easy check in and check out. We requested a mini fridge and it was in the room when we arrived. Comfortable room and friendly staff. Loved the front porch for setting and watching the carriages go by. Would definitely recommend and hope to return.

We checked in at the front desk and the clerk didn't even bother to inform us as to where our room was located. FYI...It was in a completely different building after we had searched the building we started out in. When we asked about the free entrance into the art museum that came with our stay, the desk clerk on a different day didn't know what we were talking about and had to go back into the office to inquire about how the process worked. Room and bathroom was clean. Air wall unit in our room would not work the first 24 hours and then magically kicked on. The ceiling fan chain was broken so you couldn't change speeds. The bikes for rent are cheap enough per hour, but we had to go through them to get two that didn't have issues.... example- kickstand rubbing on the tire or flat tires. We left a day early because the room occupants above us were so noisy we hadn't gotten sleep for two nights. The complimentary breakfast was very average and we chose to pay to eat at area restaurants.

It was a wonderful stay. Room felt like a hallmark movie which I love. Continental breakfast was delicious and had many options. Staff was friendly and wonderful.
