Apparently there was a small problem with the booking, which is why I was put in another hotel. Since it was late in the evening, the hotel owner drove me. That was incredibly kind of him. Because of this, I unfortunately can't say much about this hotel other than the friendliness of the staff.

Really nice little hotel in a lovely little town. We stayed one night and were very happy with the service and staff. Late check in instructions were provided before we arrived which made it very easy. Good breakfast in the morning. We were also able to stow our luggage after check out until our ride was due to arrive. Staff are very helpful and pleasant.

Il personale è molto gentile ma la camera è terribile: moquette macchiata e sporca, bagno sporco, dai peli a terra al sotto asse. I rubinetti anni 70, asse del water non della misura del water, water macchiato dentro. Una finestra piccola in bagno che se non sei alto apri solamente entrando nella vasca da bagno. Impossibilità di tenere aperta la tenda scura altrimenti ti vedono. Se la tenda è chiusa bisogna accendere la luce. Sconsiglio.

Le personnel est très accueillant, et tout est fait pour rendre le séjour agréable. La chambre est confortable agrémentée d'un petit balcon. Propreté irréprochable. Grande variété de produits de qualité au petit déjeuner : pains, brioches, charcuterie, œufs, fromages, fruits, céréales.... Emplacement idéal, proche de la plage, de l'aéroport et de la station routière (lignes d'autocars régulières vers Funchal, et Sao Lourenço) et de départ de randonnées.

Hotel in ottima posizione, a 3 km da aeroporto e ad un minuto da autostrada. In posizione strategica anche per visitare la cosata nord. Camera aveva vista mare, non era troppo grande, ma i letti grandi e comodi. Bagno con vasca, completo di bidet. Buona prima colazione e Wi-Fi ben funzionante. saremmo rimasti volentieri per tutta la settimana di vacanza, ma non c'era posto, quindi siamo stati solo tre notti. L'unico inconveniente era la moquette in camera, ma non ho avuto problemi di allergia. La foto allegata è stata fatta all'alba, che in questa stagione è verso le 7.30 locali. data la stagione non abbiamo avuto troppi problemi per parcheggiare la auto. Difficile solo nelle ore centrali della giornata.

Modern hotel with lovely and immaculate room. Very warm staff. Absolutely recommended for late arrivals. There are phone numbers for the night watchman on the door to the hotel, and he arrived within a couple of minutes. With only cabin baggage, and a pre-booked taxi, we were in our room literally half an hour after our plane landed. Great shower with luxurious soap. The hotel is less than a 10-minute walk to the bus station, for the Sao Lourenco peninsula hike (and elsewhere). Our car hire company (RentX) picked us up from the hotel seamlessly, a couple of days later, so we didn't have to go back to the airport to collect the car for touring the rest of the island. This hotel is comfortable enough to stay longer and use it as a base for day trips. With a car, this hotel is a good option for an easy relaxed breakfast and then scuba diving in the afternoon in Garajau. There are also good dives to be had in Machico and the White Waters is a far quieter, more relaxing hotel than where the diving is based.
