I’ve been to this hotel for lunch but never stayed until this weekend when we did , the room was newly renovated and what a room it was , with all the amenities you would need and we had an outdoor terrace with chairs and table , the hotel serves delicious food and the breakfast was amazing

Went for our 1 year wedding anniversary meal. Was absolutely brilliant start to finish. All good was delicious and well portioned and the staff very friendly. Place is clean and had a good atmosphere

We went for an evening meal. Food was amazing however one young waitress wasn't as courteous as you would hope for. We hadn't received our naan breads so asked for them, we weren't rude when asking for them and we also asked for jug of water.So disappointed to have the naan breads plonked down and then the water basically stomped onto the table with a look of disgust and no apology for the naan breads not being put out at same time of the mains. We were not complaining about that as totally understand that things get forgotten but there is a way of treating people. The waitress we think realised that we were taken back with her behaviour because she didn't come back to our table. Lesson to be learnt always be courteous

Myself, my wife and my brother had not reserved a table for lunch, this was not a problem and we had lovely table overlooking the sea. We opted for the Senior Citizens menu (didn’t know that this menu is available on Mondays and Tuesdays - we visited on Monday 2nd of June) Plenty of options to choose from. The food was 5 star, beautifully presented and this was the Senior Citizens menu!! Attentive, smiling staff nothing to much trouble. Certainly would recommend The Knowes.

Hotel was lovely. Staff were excellent. Nothing was a problem. Rooms have just been refurbished and look great. Room 110 doesn’t have a great view at all but wouldn’t put me off. Breakfast was a touch underwhelming compared to everything else but wouldn’t put me off going back. Recommended.

Received a gift voucher to treat ourselves to a meal out and we were certainly not disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious, staff were pleasant and attentive. It was a Saturday evening and the place was super busy yet we didn’t have long to wait from ordering. Would highly recommend and will be back!

Stayed for 2 nights at the weekend. Bed was very comfy. Rooms have been refurbished to a very high standard. Room was spotless. Evening meal was superb. The crispy langoustines starter was a highlight. Only criticism is that the cocktails were on the warm side and not cold enough for my liking. Good choice for breakfast in the morning which fuelled us up for a day of sightseeing. I’ve recommended to folk back home already. We will definitely be back to stay again.
