Golfo Gabella Lake Resort

Wir hatten das erste Mal bei Golfo Gabello ein Boot gemietet und die Erfahrung war sehr positiv. Der gesamt Mietprozess war sehr unkompliziert, die Angestellten alle sehr freundlich. Das Boot war ziemlich neu und somit auch in neuwertigem Zustand. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen!

Nicely located on the lake...spacious rooms. Nothing else to do. 1 bar where you can still go in the evening, but you should certainly not be thirsty and then enjoy delicious watery cocktails. Only a supermarket. When booking you save the cost of breakfast. Not worth anything and certainly not the service there. Walk around blindly. Your ordered coffee or tea arrives after you have already eaten. Only the stars for the room, swimming pool and location on the lake.

We booked our stay at the Golfo Gabella Lake Resort in September 2021 (with Greenstorm Hotel vouchers) and then arrived in June 2022. What we then experienced was subterranean!!! We were assigned a room without a balcony that was part of an apartment. The room had the charm of an 80s youth hostel. Wardrobe, bed, table - everything was there but nothing else. The lock had already been ripped out of the shared entrance door to the apartment! Since we had traveled with friends, we of course had the opportunity to look at their rooms - bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom and balcony. That's how it should be. When we asked why we were getting such a dump, we were only told that nothing else was available - unless we were willing to pay an additional €370.00. Then we too would get a larger apartment. It is an impertinence and a cheek to treat foreign guests like this. The locals are apparently more welcome. What is also a disgrace is the extensive breakfast buffet for €15.00 per person per day. If that's what you want to call the extensive buffet with hard rolls, 2 slices of ham, rock-hard eggs and jam??? Conclusion - once at Golfo Gabella is enough!!!!!!!
