We went in for a day outing and were amazed by the beauty of the environment. It was so...quiet... Which is exactly what we needed after a tiring month. The Victoria reservoir adds a nice touch of freshness to the very well-maintained gardens and tree houses. The food was well prepared, however, the seafood accompaniments need a bit of guidance in the correct direction (You do not serve tomato ketchup with expensive seafood.) The staff were very accommodating and the service was First Class. We would especially like to thank Mr. Supun, who served us, as he was extremely friendly, hospitable and efficient. We wish him the very best! Thank you! See you soon!

We were here with G Adventures and had a wonderful stay. Rooms are very spacious, clean and some even have fridges. The Pool is quite big and the garden very nice! The view is spectacular. The food is delicious and the amount of spice can easily adapted to one’s preference, as not everything is very spicy. Sarath gave us a very informative und really nice tour of the local village. Thank you so much for the unique experience!

Vooraf was dit hotel ons 'verkocht' als hotel bij Kandy, maar dat ligt nog op 1 uur rijden. Het terrein van het hotel ligt er mooi bij en bevindt zich in een prachtige omgeving. Eten is prima. Personeel is behulpzaam. De kamer die wij hadden was vrij eenvoudig t.o.v. van de andere locaties waar we in Sri Lanka hebben verbleven.

Hotel op een geweldige locatie, maar helaas niet goed geleid. De kamers vertoonden de nodige gebreken (toiletpot kapot, geen warm water, zandvlooien in het tafelkleed), de horeca was onder de maat (bediening duurde veel te lang, orders werden vergeten) en de communicatie verliep lastig doordat het personeel nauwelijks engels sprak. We hebben sterk de indruk dat de leiding onvoldoende horeca-kennis heeft om dit hotel op een goede manier te leiden.

Het hotel is verouderd. Is duidelijk aan een rêverie/update toe. Badkamers zijn verouder, kamers zijn ruim en hebben airco. Zwembad is best netjes op het eerste gezicht. Mag duidelijk wel een een keer goed schoon gemaakt worden. Verder zij. Er rondom het zwembad verschillende tegels kapot. Niet handig met jonge kinderen. Het eten was redelijk. Personeel vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

"I went there with my staff on our annual staff trip. It's a great place to have a staff outing as they have ample space for activities. The pool was great, the food was good, and the staff and service were excellent (although sometimes à la carte food orders were delayed). Mr. Samarakoon, the general manager, was really helpful, as were the chef, operation manager, restaurant manager, and three girls from the reception.
