Comfortable and spacious rooms, two minutes from Bikini Beach and with good service. The hotel restaurant is very good, I recommend the tuna submarines. The only thing I didn't like is that they have a chained parrot in the garden. Otherwise, in general, recommended

10/10 . The most nicer guest house I have ever visited. Staff are very friendly, the receptionist are always there and they go beyond and above their duties. The Hotel rooms are clean, basic but the environment is so pleasant the garden is very relaxing with a beautiful vibes
I would recommande their trip packages the trip crew are fantastic, very very friendly.
For people who want to relax that is the perfect place to stay

I had to think for a while about how I can write this review as honestly as possible. To be honest, I don't understand where all these positive reviews come from. Maybe from pre-COVID. I have already given my personal opinion through the "points". But one traveler's expectations are different from another. The positive thing is that the staff is friendly.. the breakfast provided by the neighbor (Triton Beach) is average for the Maldives: 2 types of egg, 2 types of bread, 2 types of fruit, butter, 1 type of jam, chicken curry, rice and fried potato.. Stingray's design can be super fun if it is run well. unfortunately it fails completely because of everything that is wrong. Negative points · the hotel has clearly not been maintained for a while. but that is no excuse in my eyes for poor hygiene. - Hygiene is hard to find here. rooms were dirty. sheets & towels full of stains, bathroom & walls full of stains and hair. suspect pee behind the toilet. for example, the hair and the stains in the sink & toilet on arrival.. these were still there 3 days later when we checked out. - Sockets hang dangerously out of the wall... 1 even had a piece of a plug. another hanging socket is 70cm from your shower head... simply dangerous! - the jacuzzi's water is green - no hot water. lukewarm at best - when guests sit on the roof terrace they look straight into your bathroom in some rooms. (= no privacy) - rooms are located around the public café/restaurant. doors are even missing pieces. so you can hear all the sound very well in your room. you can follow the conversations from your bed. - roof is made of iron/aluminum... without noticeable insulation. so during a tropical rain shower it echoes and bangs in your room. I quickly looked for another hotel for the remaining days on Maafushi...

We had two of their vegeterian options for dinner- Penne pasta and Mushroom curry. The food was good but it was highly overpriced and portions were extremely small. The hospitality of the property owners was pathetic- they refused to take a 20$ bill that i had with me at the time citing that it had a small cut just because it was in my pocket and sweat might have played a part. Their adamancy and inflexibility is something they seem to be very proud of. Needless to say I wont be visiting this place again nor recomending this place to anyone.

I had their freshly catch of the day fish and fresh octopus sizzling it’s one of the rare restaurants that offered fresh sea food the atmosphere is nice and pricing 200 mvr for fish and 230 for sizziling octopus we enjoyed this more then the candel dinner kani beach offer at beach because their is not fresh what’s point of being in an island and getting frozen fish

I have stayed in Stingray Beach Inn for 11 days of my vacation in the Maldives, island of Maafushi. It is a cute little hotel with a beautiful garden in the shades of tall palm trees. The food is just delicious, they offer asian cuisine, but the pizza is also great. Have to say they are vegeterian/vegan friendly. I recommend fruit juices made from fresh fruit, but also specialties on a hot iron plate (sizzling). Even if you are not staying in the hotel, you should definitely eat here at least once!. The service is a bit slow, but it is worth waiting. The rooms are modest, but clean and very cute, with air conditioning and fans. The staff is excellent and professional, lead by the kind manager Mr Ibrahim. If you want a relaxed and authentic experience of the Maldives, out of the resorts and fancy hotels that you may find anywhere, this is the place for you. If I come to Maafushi next time, I do not have to think where I will be staying. Stingray, definitely!
