The Gaydon

Another fantastic stay at the Gaydon. We took advantage of the 3 for 2 January offer, representing excellent value. Our stay was very comfortable and the hosts Keith and Kate As enthusiastic and engaging as ever. Following an extensive breakfast each morning, we spent the days walking and enjoying the locality. There are several hotels close by, where non residents are welcome and good for a drink and catch up up. Returning to the Gaydon in the evening we found it to be warm and cosy and always had a decanter of sherry on the sideboard. Lovely hotel.

Good location just off the front and walking distance from St Ann's and Lytham, Restaurants and an excellent award winning old fashion Fish and Chip shop a stone's throw away. Breakfast was of a very high quality with decent amount of choice, hosts were very friendly and helpful with tips about restaurants, buses and the local area etc and even offering a 5.00 O Clock sherry if you wished to partake of one., all in all a very happy customer

Stayed here for two nights & enjoyed every minute Keith & Kate were very welcoming & Keith helped to carry our cases to the first floor double deluxe room which was warm clean & crisp white bed linen & fluffy white towels & complimentary toiletries along with plenty of tea coffee hot chocolate sugar milk & biscuits. Also on arrival we were offered a glass of sherry which was a nice touch but we did have it as a night cap. The following morning we had an amazing breakfast from cereals to full English & beautiful homemade muffins which Keith warmed for us & served them with honey & cinnamon delicious. We will definitely return as it’s such a lovely B&B & in a very quiet location but close to all amenities once again thank you for a perfect weekend. Arthur & Alison 🥂🤗

Another fabulous stay at this lovely spotlessly clean B&B with a homely feel. We had a superb spacious room with a super king bed, which was very comfy and a large en-suite with a great walk in shower. The cooked breakfast was delicious, cereal,fruit, yoghurt etc also available. Kate and Keith are a lovely, friendly couple and it’s been a pleasure to stay here once again.

Stayed for 2 nights over New Year and felt so welcomed by Keith and Kate with a sherry on arrival! Lovely, large, spotless en suite bedroom first floor which can be set up as king-size or twin beds. Toiletries and kettle, tea/coffee/hot choc provided Breakfast was amazing, so much choice including all cereals, full english, vegetarian, omelettes, etc. Free Parking available on drive or in the street. Promenade and sea one minute walk away. Short drive into Lytham or Blackpool. We had tickets NYE for Tribute act show at nearby Lowther Pavilion which was great way to see in new year. Would definitely stay at this property again! Thanks Keith and Kate x
