I spent two nights at the hotel and couldn’t fault it. Firstly getting to the hotel, there’s quite a steep hill up to the hotel but I was given directions by the owners so had no trouble finding it, once there there was ample parking. I was greeted by the owner and shown to my room, I received a very friendly welcome. I had a lovely room with a beautiful view of the sea to the right and a view of public parking below the hotel to the left.. I looked right! I had a shower in the room with a sink, and a separate toilet on the landing for just my use. There was a kettle in the room with tea, coffee sugar a single pack of biscuits and a chocolate! Milk was available to take to the room from the downstairs bar. The hotel is decorated nicely, clean and comfortable . You have a breakfast menu given to fill out for the following morning which you leave downstairs. The breakfast selection was very good, and I enjoyed the homemade granola and the homemade muffins. I would definitely recommend a stay here, there’s a pub at the bottom of the hill and a very quick walk to the shops and the funicular for Lynmouth. A good variety of eateries close to hand as well.

I stayed in the beautiful, very comfortable small single room with a fantastic view from 2 large windows out over the sea. I didn't mind that the private loo for my room was down the corridor a little way as it made the room extremely good value. It was super clean and fresh with lots of little extras to make me feel very welcome and spoilt. The hosts were really pleasant and friendly and the food was amazing - home cooked ,great quality and plenty of it (much needed after walking the day before from Porlock )

I love this guest house. Have stayed before. Really friendly couple who run it, super clean, great breakfasts, comfy rooms, and in easy walking distance of all the best places to eat in town. Lynton and Lynemouth are so lovely and unspoiled. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely two night stay. The hosts were welcoming and helpful, even assisted with our bags. Our room was spacious and clean. The view from our room was amazing to wake up to. The location was quiet yet close to town with lots of eateries and shops within walking distance. The made to order breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed the onsite honor-system bar which was convenient. As American drivers, we found the narrow road up and entry a bit tricky, but well worth it. Highly recommend!

Our second time here and it was just as good as the last. Friendly and helpful owners, excellent breakfast, very clean throughout and an outside store to keep our e-bikes. It's up a steep hill but that's no surprise in this part of the country. Highly recommended.

Beautiful B&B. Nice location. Room with lots of daylight and a beautiful view. Comfortable large bed. Breakfast was freshly prepared and very tasty. Friendly and helpful owners. Shed to store bicycles. We would love to stay here again next time.

We arrived for the Easter weekend and to celebrate my birthday. Our host Alison, checked us in and then brought out tea and the most delicious lemon cake to have in the lounge. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and has spectacular views of the sea and surrounding countryside. Breakfast was delicious and there is a very good selection to choose from, including pastries, fresh fruit, yoghurts etc or a lovely cooked breakfast courtesy of Victor, Alison’s husband. Lovely hotel in a beautiful location run by very nice people…what’s not to like!

Detailed communications from the hotel with recommendations on where to eat, advising to book in advance. Good directions on finding the hotel and parking. Warm welcome, we were able to check in early after phoning ahead. The room was spotlessly clean with luxury feeling bedding. The view was amazing and the bath a welcome after walking all day. Great advice from Alison on where to walk and whether it was a bit steep. Breakfast was another level, fresh ingredients and a huge choice, with the best scrambled egg I've ever had (don't tell my husband!). Loved it all and wouldn't hesitate to revisit.
