The North Cliff Hotel

Have just had a break at the North Cliff Hotel and the whole experience was fabulous. First and foremost the whole team are great and make you feel really welcome. The food, evening meals and breakfasts, was delicious and plentiful, we were recommended the cottage pie and it was the best we have ever had! This hotel has a lovely comfortable and relaxed feel to it, the room was lovely with a great view and the hotel is in a brilliant position for exploring, Thank you to everyone for a lovely stay and we can`t wait to return.

Fantastic hotel Extremely friendly staff, very accommodating. Fabulous breakfast. Stunning room with 4 poster bed and views. Great walks, shops and train that takes you into the village below Lynmouth. Can't wait to return .. Highly recommend

Wow! This hotel is wonderful from the warm welcome, Lovely big comfortable beds and rooms. Everything is clean and beautifully decorated and furnished. Breakfast had loads of choice and was high quality and really well cooked. So many lovely touches everywhere, and run by such a lovely helpful family. Top that with amazing sea views. I will definitely return.

From the time we arrived to the time we left, the hosts and team at the North Cliff made our overnight stay a very warm and welcome one. The room was immediately clean and the beds were comfortable. The food…exceptionally good and beautifully presented both at dinner and breakfast time. We will definitely make a return visit. Thank you! Highly recommended!

This was our second visit to North Cliff Hotel and it won’t be our last. The rooms have a lovely feel, classic BnB and all has been kept to a high standard all round. We were booked for 2 nights however we were having so much fun we booked for a third night. We thought we’d keep it a secret from our 2 children and it was lovely of the host, Rebecca to join in on the surprise. Breakfast is superb plus we ate there one night too and that was just as good. A perfect place to stay as a family however you’d feel just as welcome as a walking guest on your own. We will certainly book again next year. Can’t promise another surprise next time though!

I have just returned from a very enjoyable stay at the North Cliff Hotel, the hosts were brilliant and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. I didn't try the evening meals but the breakfast was outstanding - I will stay here again for sure!

We have just spent 2 nights in this hotel and can highly recommend. We arrived slightly earlier than 3.30pm and were able to check in straight away. Room was perfect, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and stunning sea view. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and was delicious. We used the honesty bar both evenings and sat on the terrace with a glass of wine watching the furnicular railway which runs right past the hotel. Hosts were friendly and chatty and we would love to come back again

I’ve been coming to Lynton & Lynmouth for around 30 years and always wanted to stay in this hotel, and wow I am so glad I finally did. Our check in was at 3:30, and we were able to arrive slightly earlier and use the car park before checking in at 3:30. The lad on reception was so welcoming, informative & helpful. Our rooms were comfortable, clean and the most spectacular views! There is an honesty bar which is very well stocked, and the most beautiful terrace where you can sit with a drink & relax! You can also dine there for dinner which is a bonus and the menu was very varied and reasonably priced. I had the most amazing sleep with the sound of the sea, and the comfy beds & duvets. Breakfast was lovely. Quick service and you could have cereals, fruit salads and full English’s. WiFi was faultless, the lounge was clean and welcoming, car parking was a life saver. The owners were so friendly and welcoming and I will 100% be staying again. I might even make it my place to stay when in Lynmouth. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
